In the aftermath of this election…

…I’m finding there to be a strange…quiet in the atmosphere. It’s not at all like 2008, when there were loud and adulating crowds, where there were victory laps and cries of joy…where there were even some taunts of “nya, nya, nyaaa, we won the election!” (That last came directly from Obama himself, as I remember.) But now? It’s strangely…quiet. They’re very subdued this time. It almost has the feeling that the winning voters might be collectively holding their breath, thinking…”Have we gone too far?”

After all, the new American electorate has voted for “free stuff.” Socialism is no longer a dirty word, nor is it a concept synonymous with economic failure anymore. So the question may now be…

And I was Hoping for a Day Off…

Nothing tastes quite like defeat but nothing creates blog material like Democrats.  (I’d have preferred the day off but that was apparenlty not meant to be.)

So here we go again.  I expect the 2016 election to start any moment now…

By the way.  Some libertarians are taking credit for the GOP not being able to win without them.  Note to those libertarains.  That would actually mean you helped Obama win.  (Hassan, Lasky, Gilmore, Shea-Porter, McKluster etc…?)  I don’t happen to think you had any meaningful affect at all, personally.  The difference in New Hampshire (at least) was not slight. Romney may even have won the popular vote nationally–though I have only hear-say on that point.  But as the results unfold I’ll be happy to give you some credit if that will make you feel like you mattered.  I know how sensitive you folks are about your movement.

Next: That bitter Tea narrative seems to have worked.

Prepare for The Most Inaccurate Exit Polling…EVER!

The very thing that makes the race appear even remotely close between Obama and Romney will be multiplied today.  I’m talking about exit polling.  My guess is that the same people who do not want to admit that they will not vote for Obama before the election, will not admit they didn’t vote for him … Read more

EPIC Early Turnout in Merrimack New Hampshire

Moving to one polling location cannot begin to account for the massive voter turnout in Merrimack this morning.  Huge parking areas and no place to park–unless you want to walk a mile.   A line outside the school several hundred feet long–that’s before the line inside and then the line to check in and then … Read more

Another “Political Campaign Stunt” By Romney

“It seems that the first victim of an Obama campaign is the truth.” —Mitt Romney

Throughout this campaign, there is one issue Mitt Romney has not  talked about. What the Romney has not talked about is his profound generosity over many, many years to so many people. Mitt has not only given of himself personally, but he has given his time and a significant amount of his wealth to truly help others in need.

We have seen report after report of others (Not those in the Romney Camp) going forth to the media and speaking of how Mitt and his family have been so exceedingly generous  to so many for more than 40 years. Let me say that again. Mitt and his family have been so exceedingly generous  to so many for more than 40 years.

Conservative Guide to Dealing With Rioters

The left likes to accuse the Right of voter intimidation, but then says things like–if you don’t vote for Obama you are a racist, you hate women, you hate poor people, and if that doesn’t work….we’re going to riot. Given the trajectory of things my guess is that the inner city lefties will be eating … Read more

Romney versus the libertarians? Here’s where I stand.

Well, well, it seems that a last-minute storm has been brewed up by my posting about libertarians who are refusing to vote for Romney tomorrow. You can see it—and the video that prompted the posting—HERE. That caused quite a bit of reaction, both here and on Facebook, which in turn caused Grokster Skip Murphy to jump into the fray ‘with THIS POSTING after the Project’s redoubtable Chis Lawless opined that “The video wasn’t that much a convincer to be honest.” And that caused me to revisit my own reasoning and assumptions that impel me to vote for Romney tomorrow…which causes me to say this:

Brenda and John Grady – Toeing the Liberal Lie in Merrimack

I wasn’t going to expend any effort on these two, Democrats,  more moderate on their face than most I am told by some, but Democrats none the less.  But today (Sunday), they dropped off a page of printed nonsense at my home which requires some attention.

There are four bullet points on their missive to which they claim to object.  Downshifting costs to local government, the cost of college education (the reduction of State University funding), Gridlock (Washington and Concord), not listening to constituents instead of talking to them.

The Grady’s are making the case (without ever mentioning that they are Democrats) that they deserve your votes so they may right these so-called wrongs.  But by refusing to admit to their own pedigree or its history they–intentionally or not–participate in a deception that does the people of Merrimack a great disservice.

Barack Obama, Ben Ghazi, and Warren Wimmen Walk into a Bar…

Alternate title:  Jobs report – 65 million can’t find work, unemployment effectively zero. Alrernate alternate title:  If Barack Obama falls in the electroal forrest and the Main Stream Media doesn’t report it, did it really happen? Sigh. Tuesday can’t come soon enough.  That will not, however, be the end of it.  While Romney will very … Read more

On Wednesday November 7th Can We Blame A Video…

Ten days of blaming a YouTube video for the coordinated al Qaeda terrorist attack that resulted in four dead Americans in Benghazi Libya may yet turn out to be true.  That video, or more precisely the White House cover-up, might well be the last straw that tips a significant number of voters away from Obama, … Read more

IF You Can’t Take The Heat – Surround Yourself With More Bureaucrats

The Obama Czars exist to do Obama’s job. They are also there to deflect blame into the warren of unaccountable bureaucrats that have exploded around the Czars and cabinet agencies.  Bureaucrats are as nameless and faceless as the people whose lives they try to direct without fear of reprisal.  Bureaucrats don’t stand for re-election, nor do Czars.  And when trouble hits, the “elected” officials just shuffle the deck.  You are told it’s been taken care of but nothign really changes except that elections really will no longer matter.

So when Obama said he’d consider creating a new cabinet position entitled Secretary of Business, our expectations for Obama are once more met.  That’s not his job.  He’s too busy playing golf and running for office again.  And if you keep thinking it is his job, well how about another billion dollar taxpayer funded bureaucracy run by the Secretary of Business to absorb the blame.  Not Obama’s fault.  But he promises he’ll look into it.

And what?  Create another taxpayer funded bureaucrat or Czar or bureaucracy, or Blue ribbon panel to ignore as another firewall to protect him?

Calling BS on the BS

Obama is an idiotMr. Obama is now famous for something else.  Using the word Bullsh***er in an interview…when referring to a child’s aptitude for sensing it (in others)…like in his opponents for example.

That must be something the public school system beats out of them then because were it true he’d have never been elected to the office of the President.  No one is full of more BS than Obama.

Take this BS from Obama for example, courtesy of Hot Air...

Obama’s Second Term Agenda? A Job For Barack Obama

The Obama campaign has released a picture book of President Obama, complete with pulpit pablum, and is trying to pass it off as his second term vision. While a lot of people, including the media and Democrats, are disappointed, I think this may well be the most honest product to come from this campaign…ever. No … Read more

“Just vote Republican.”

This man has an appointment with destiny....

Regarding the Presidential election…it’s over. There’s little question now that Obama will lose the election. Even with  the news blackout by the mainstream media, the truth is emerging: It is becoming clear that our President left Ambassador Stevens and other Benghazi consulate personnel to die in the Al Qaeda attack on September 11th.

Whether it was a cold calculation by the President, or merely fearful and incompetent dithering, the cover-up is unraveling…disastrously so for Obama and the Democrats.

The only question now is how large Romney’s victory will be, and whether he will have “coattails” to boost other Republicans across the finish line to victory. I here and now predict he will. If I am right, then President Romney will have the White House, and the Republicans will have majorities in both the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives.

The question is…
