If you had doubts about what the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has become, this should clear that up. The ACLU is running ads on Facebook. ‘Defund the Police.’ If you click the link, you can sign a petition at action.aclu.org to (drumroll) defund the police.
The left lives on lies. Need an example? “Hands up Don’t Shoot.” It has gotten popular recently because of “I can’t breathe” – which did happen. But the latter is not something you can dance to, and putting your hands in the air like you don’t care if that’s an urban legend, is more their style.
If you missed it, or we’ve never met to discuss it, GraniteGrok is not a “Republican Website.” That some number of Republicans have been known to stumble over the principles we defend is their accident, not ours. So, when a NH Democrat claimed ‘Grok’ “appears to be Mainstream Republican,” I laughed out loud.
We warned New Hampshire about Democrat candidate Jeanne Dietsch, (Sen. Dist 9), but not enough Republicans turned out to keep her from winning in the 2018 Blue Wave election. An error they should be sure to correct come November. Why?
The peaceful protests in Seattle became so “not-peaceful” that City police abandoned a local precinct in fear for their lives. Antifa and BLM proceeded to take over six square city blocks, which they declared an autonomous community. But one day into paradise and things are going about the way you’d expect.
I noted earlier this week that if you wanted to get a look at what a city without police would be like, the riots were an excellent place to start. Here’ another one. Los Angeles. The city of angels. As in 250% more people have become angels (or demons) during the peaceful anti-police protests.
File this in the ‘you can’t make this stuff up’ folder folks. Female Democrat Representatives Jan Schmidt and Rosemarie Rung (two of the worst reps at the NH State House) are complaining for being treated….. seriously… not even kidding… EQUALLY. They apparently don’t like to be held accountable, as elected officials, for their votes, actions … Read more
We’ve made the point more than once. Democrats have run the cities with the riots (where they are protesting systemic racism) for decades. George Korda, writing at that far-right bastion (cough-cough) USA Today, wonders why they are not taking their share of the blame?
The sleeping beast is not what you think. It’s middle of the road voting Americans. Those so-called moderates who, regardless of race, voluntarily follow the rules, even when they feel there’s something fishy. But law-abiding citizens got a taste of the left’s hypocrisy sandwich with the protests and riots, and I’m betting they are not amused.
We still have a long way to go, but this is a damn good start. Not Because we added 2.5 Million jobs after putting a historic number of people out of work, but because the “experts” predicted terrible numbers and we got the opposite.
Black Lives Matters (BLM) wants a lot of things. Like, no more cops. If you’d like an example of what that looks like, turn on your TV and watch the rioting. But they want that, among other things, like this list from BLM co-founder Chanelle Helm, in Lousiville.
Last night “Black Lives Matter” held a vigil at Stark Park in Manchester. They had already held a protest the weekend before but for some reason wanted to hold another, one that started at 8PM at night. There were threats of Antifa Communists who were planning on rioting and looting the city, especially the South … Read more
Somewhere on Twitter, one of New Hampshire’s desperately-seeking-attention Democrats regurgitated another narrative mill talking point out of DC. They didn’t want Gov. Sununu to send our National Guard anywhere to “interfere in peaceful protests.”
“Russia” is the name of the Democrat Party’s invisible friend. The one that broke the lamp, the vase, drew on the wall, and let the water overrun in the sink and flood two floors, one of which belonged to the neighbor downstairs. “Russia” is responsible for everything, including (now), maybe, the riots raging in Democrat cities.
I’ve seen a sampling of the reports. Large crowds. A lot of violence. No social distancing. And why bother? The point of the former, the mask mandates, all the virus socialism, was to create fear. Riots do that and more.
As a followup to the previous piece on Antifa being declared a terrorist group, Kurt Schlichter (a national treasure) shared a few thoughts on Twitter that you may find interesting. Like, “This is an opportunity to destroy Antifa root and branch, and to eliminate the armed wing of the Democrat party.”
We have close to 200 articles on GraniteGrok that are about or reference ANTIFA. A group formed in the 1930s for one purpose. To recruit National Socialists into the communist party. Terrorism and violence is always a solution.
The question, with the deadline for renewal approaching, was, “Given what we know now, Should Gov Sununu Extend the NH State of Emergency Another 21-Days?” Our response and the majority of yours was a resounding no.
Democrats made hysterical assertions about reopening the economy, and blood on our hands. Their noise is proving to be hysterical wailing and gnashing of teeth. OMG… Democrats are petrified of the prospect of an economic recovery. But it may be out there.
