My dentist called today with a reminder for an upcoming scheduled appointment. We confirmed the date and time. Then the office worker said the practice requires patients to wear face masks. It made me pause for a moment.

FreedomWorks Gives Gov Sununu a “C” for Reopening New Hampshire’s Economy
FreedomWorks has issued a governor’s Report Card. They analyzed the various response and reopening strategies in each state on a handful of points (mostly the economic damage) and gave each effort a grade. How did your state do?
“If we rush to appease one part of the state or one constituency, we really put everyone else at risk.”
Governor Sununu is sticking to his “Public Health Trumps Everything” mantra as we continue our new lives as political prisoners. And to justify not rushing back to normal, the Boston Herald quotes Flununu as saying, “If we rush to appease one part of the state or one constituency, we really put everyone else at risk.”
GrokPoll Results: “Would You Support a Republican Primary Challenger to NH Gov. Chris Sununu?”
A few days ago, we reported on some Republicans expressing concern over Governor Sununu’s emergency orders. Folks from whom you would not typically hear that sort of thing. So, we made it a poll question. “Would You Support a Republican Primary Challenger to NH Gov. Chris Sununu?”
With 13 Hours Left in the Poll How Is Gov. Sununu Doing?
Our latest poll asks whether you would support a Republican if they primaried governor Chris Sununu. The answers were No, Yes, and Yes, but only if it was the right candidate. The poll ends in 13 hours. How is Governor Sununu doing so far?
Emergency order will standardize clothing sizes
A source in Governor Sununu’s office has indicated that an emergency order will be issued in the next few days, setting a single size for pants, and another for shoes, to be adopted by all clothing retailers and wholesalers, thrift stores, tailors and other alteration services, dry cleaners, and laundromats throughout New Hampshire.
Germ Warfare and Hygienic Fascism
This topic deserves more attention than I’ll give it here, but I wanted to break some ground on it. It is the weaponization of germaphobia as a means to institutionalize Hygenic fascism. It’s not just an idea; we are watching it, living it, and protesting it.
GrokPOLL: Would You Support a Republican Primary Challenger to NH Gov. Chris Sununu?”
The grassroots in New Hampshire is boiling up and over about the lockdown. People I would have never expected are open to supporting a Republican challenger. So, it made sense to ask the question in our latest poll.
Hey, New Hampshire, Do you want two more months of lockdown?
Thank you to everyone who showed up at our Rally to Live Free last Saturday, May 2. We had a great event, with at least 500 people delivering the 5,300 petitions we signed to the governor. Unfortunately, the governor isn’t listening yet. We will need to keep up the pressure, and in fact, we will need to turn it up a notch, or ten.
Howie Carr asks White House to Help Gov. Chris Sununu With His Spine
Howie Carr was talking to Hogan Gidley, the White House Deputy Press Secretary. He had him on the air and had an important question for him. He was wondering if he could get President Trump to call Governor Chirs Sununu.
Quick Thought: IF NH Governor Sununu is a Constitutionalist, why Doesn’t He Talk Like One?
Background: NH Gov. Chris Sununu: “Public Health Trumps Everything“. As many of us have noted: Constitution, even? Something has been bothering me since his 3pm Presser last Friday at which time he announced his “Stay at Home 2.0”. At one point during the Presser, he was asked a question about Out of Staters coming into … Read more
ReopenNH Rally Delivers Petitions to Governor – Lots of Pictures!
Recent studies have shown original concerns regarding the coronavirus were way overblown, and that the mortality rate is equivalent to the seasonal flu. Have we lost our sense of proportion?
Late one evening years ago, I stepped outside and was greeted by a police officer kneeling beside his car with his gun drawn. He told me to get back in the house, and I complied with his excellent suggestion. This was a real emergency. I learned later that one of my neighbors was unwell and had brandished a gun.
Is a Rebellion Forming Against Governor Sununu From within His Own Party?
I saw the poll that Ed had commented on before (“Massive Majority in New Hampshire Support Authoritarian Government and Willing to Believe Anything Government/Press Tell Them“) and had basically thrown up my hands in horror.
Have we really counted the costs?
How long does it take to build a new home from scratch and how many people with how many different skills are needed to get the job done? How long does it take for an uncontrollable fire to reduce that house to ashes?
Wolfeboro NH PD: On the Matter of ‘Ratting-Out!’ Your Neighbors

Rich Girard Takes a Closer Look at New Hampshire’s COVID-19 Case Map
Girard at Large, the radio show (RIP) has been gone for a while. Rich had a parallel local access TV show by the same name that lived on until Manchester refused to let him in the studio. He’s no longer an elected official so no access during a lockdown. That has not stopped him.
A Tale of Two New Hampshires
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness.” (“A Tale of Two Cities”). Charles Dickens’ words may aptly be applied to 2020 New Hampshire vs. 2010 New Hampshire—an age of wisdom vs. and age of foolishness re: state fiscal policy.
Emergency order will change state motto
A source close to the governor has indicated that another emergency order will be issued in the next few days, changing the state motto from Live Free or Die (which is now obsolete) to Public Health Trumps Everything (a direct quote from the governor, which more accurately reflects the new reality within the state).
