Nashua Democrat Jan Schmidt is the co-sponsor of a proposed bill that would define (presumably) a point where interacting with a public official online becomes cyberstalking or bullying. Jan is no friend of free speech, but she thinks she is and to make the case she borrows someone else’s.

Let’s see if I understand the situation in Gilford. The town is dissatisfied with the arrangement with Laconia for disposal of trash, so they decided to build a combined trash/recycling center at the recycling site.

Not many taxpayers realize it, but teachers union contracts have clauses that allow union members to use school facilities for union activities. However, there are restrictions on the appropriate use of public facilities.

On Nov. 7th the Nashua School board president Heather Raymond stated that “I just want to be clear that this motion is NOT BINDING us to build a new middle school.”
Much like social graces, parking rules are not for Nashua Democrats. They just don’t apply. Park wherever the hell you like and the little people will have to work around it.

Nashua has a problem. It is swirling the bowl, to the left, in a predictable downward turn. A Nashua Rep. wants to label online engagement with public officials as harassment. There is a move to constrain requests for public documents under the state’s right to know law. Even the School District is into suppressing speech.
