Special Committee on Negotiations Chairman Richard H. Girard took issue with an email sent by at-Large Alderman Daniel P. O’Neil, Chairman of the Board of Aldermen, about the status of negotiations with the city’s teachers.
We learned that the biennial budget shenanigans with replacement budget bills are in progress. The Majority Party Democrats tried in vain to “suspend the rules” in order to introduce the budget replacement bills HB3 and HB4.

Manchester’s Safe Station initiative has always drawn these kinds of numbers of people from out of the city. This is nothing new. What is concerning, however, is that it appears as if the state’s program might actually be referring people to the city.

We learned that Veto Day can be a satisfying endeavor even for the Minority Party Republicans and that saving NH from radical legislation can be fun and rewarding.
It’s not often that a Peterborough Democrat votes the right way in Concord, so when the opportunity arrises it seems almost necessary to praise it.
HB 364 will now return to the Senate for a final vote, expected tomorrow. Concord, N.H. — Today, the New Hampshire House of Representatives voted (259-120) to override Gov.
