Erroneous models have been used by our government to justify shutting down our freedoms and economy. Some of the decisions may have been with good intentions, but it is becoming more clear day by day that it’s time to use factual data – and get back to Keeping America Great. You can make an impact by participating in a rally tomorrow (Saturday) at noon at the State House. You can even stay in your car if you would feel more comfortable doing so – click here for details.
Here are just a few examples why it’s time to end the shut down:
A report by an Israeli Professor finds there is virtually no difference of the coronavirus spreading in locked down and non-locked down countries.
DHHS’ Own Numbers Show Coronavirus Probably Peaked in New Hampshire in February.
The models believed to be used by Governor Sununu were way off.
The IHME model was also way off. The actual numbers of hospitalizations on April 1 were a fraction of the numbers projected by the IHME model. The model projected that over 121,000 people would be hospitalized in the country on April 1. The actual number was 31,142. (25.7%)
Texas: Projection – 1,716; Actual – 196 (11.4%)
Georgia: Projection – 2,777; Actual – 952 (34.3%)
Virginia: Projection – 607; Actual – 305 (50%)
Tennessee: Projection – 2,214; Actual number – 200 (9%)
New York: Projection – 50,962; Actual number – 18,368 (36%)
While all of the deaths attributed to the coronavirus are tragic, the numbers are small when compared to other causes of death that DON’T shut down economies and countries with stay at home lock down orders. Causes of death world wide January 1 through March 25 of 2020:
Coronavirus, 21,000 deaths.
Seasonal flu, 113,000.
Malaria, 228,000.
Suicide, 249,000.
Traffic fatalities, 313,000
HIV/AIDS, 391,000 deaths.
Alcohol related deaths, 581,000.
Smoking-related deaths, 1,162,000.
Cancer deaths, 1,909,000 deaths.
Deaths attributed to starvation, 2,382,000 deaths.
In Italy, a much smaller percentage of deaths were actually caused by the coronavirus then we were originally led to believe.
The Granite Grok has published many stories that justify reopening NH.
If you believe it’s time to end the state of emergency that was declared by Governor Sununu, and that decisions regarding your daily activities should be made by you, then please make your presence known at the State House this Saturday at noon. You can even stay in your car if you would feel more comfortable doing so.
