The Craze:
Through peers, social media sites like YouTube, Tumblr, and Reddit, trans role models on TV, and public schools, a social contagion of rapid onset gender dysphoria (ROGD) is spreading among anxious adolescent girls who showed no signs of gender dysphoria growing up.
This is unexpected. The New Hampshire Chapter of the National Education Association (NEA) opposes a proposal at the national level to require vaccinations of teachers, staff, and students.
Not exactly what the Southern Democrats demanded of Blacks back during Jim Crow in order to vote….well, for all those Social Justice Warriors out there that depend on “feelz” than actual “book learnin'” (as Granny Clampett used to say), it might be even harder.
Massachusetts police were involved in a “standoff” with armed men on I-95. Several of them fled into the surrounding woods but were later found and detained. They say they do not recognize “our laws” but are not anti-police or anti-government.

Yesterday … on the eve of the Fourth of July weekend, the New Hampshire Supreme Court UNANIMOUSLY ruled that a 2017 voter registration law requiring proof of domicile (Senate Bill 3) was unconstitutional.

Columnist Josh Barro says you should, “Celebrate American prosperity with your fine kitchen appliances and make the food for the cookout indoors.” Shouldn’t a columnist know that it is not a cookout if you cook in?

It perplexes me why the liberal Left tends to support Islamic causes while demeaning Christian and Jewish religions. It can’t be based on any moral/ethical grounds. If anything, Islam is far more stringent and less tolerant on every key liberal issue.
There is ample justification for believing that giving jerks attention may be what they want and not what they need. I agree that this position holds water, but after over 12 years of blogging, I can say with confidence that the other side of that is often worth the “price.”
Canada doesn’t have our Constitution or Bill of Rights. They’ve got 2b (as in) 2b or not 2b because Section 1 of their charter of rights and freedoms limits rights “as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society.”
Adam Sexton, political director at WMUR, hosted a debate between Leah Cohen of the Reproductive Freedom Fund of NH and Shannon McGinley of Cornerstone Action about the language in HB2, the NH budget trailer bill, that restricts abortions after 24 weeks gestation.
It’s been a few days (weeks?) since we’ve had a COVID link dump and yes, it very much matters. There is a lot of interesting debate that continues and we should try to stay in tune with that.
Democrats love China, especially the Clinton’s and Biden’s, but they are all enamored. Democrats made Communist China possible, and they’ve been pining for a similar form of government here as well. Well, maybe not all of them.
Activity is high but we’re heading into a long vacation weekend – Independence Day. Long may our Great American Experiment last – so do your best to celebrate it and make the Democrat / Progressive / Socialist / Communist / Marxist tears flow!
