Writing in the academic journal Feminist Theory, Lauran Whitworth suggested the idea of ecosexualsim. An ecosexual “takes the earth as their lover,” or just “a person that finds nature sensual.”

Dianne Feinstein has a problem. Sorry. We could fill a blog with everything with which Dianne Feinstein has a problem and, wait. I think we…anyway. Today’s “problem” is common use with regard to what the California Senator refers to as “Assault Weapons” and Judge Kavanaugh’s response regarding ‘semi-automatic’ weapons, precedent, and the second amendment.
The Senator thinks that he and she are on completely different wavelengths.
At the end of August, I shared an email from a reader. They suggested that New Hampshire’s choice of tax policies was somehow tied to a series of business failures (some pending), one of which was Brookstone, a niche specialty items chain that has corporate offices in Merrimack (ack-ack), New Hampshire.
Brookstone is failing, yes. But is it New Hampshire’s fault?
Democrats should be happy that Judge Kavanaugh does not see a specific right to abortion in the words of the US Constitution. It means that the lib-states can do whatever they want. Lefty Landscapes can continue to “euthanize” minority populations before birth and legally “separate” immigrant mothers from their unborn babies. All at Taxpayer Expense!
Women’s health care for all the victim groups including the ones that were not born “women.”
These states will be so desirable that “women” will leave non-lib-states that fail to see the benefit and move to the lib-states instead.
Right?
Jeff Woddburn’s arrest on nine counts of Domestic violence, he’s been laying low. So low that reposts suggest he has not been to any meetings or events (so we shouldn’t expect to see him at this one). There are few if any signs (literally) indicating he is running for public office even though he has refused to resign or drop his re-election bid.
The left works hard on their corporate speech, corporations aren’t people, campaign finance reform song and dance narratives. But here’s a quick and easy way to explain to friends and family why it’s all just a bunch of left-wing hooey.
Are corporations – which are just a bunch of people working collectively toward a shared interest- subject to taxes and regulations? Yes?

In an email released yesterday Cornerstone Action PAC announced its endorsements in contested Republican primaries for state-level races. These are for the Executive Council, State Senate, and NH House. “The Cornerstone Action PAC is non-partisan and evaluates candidates without regard to party affiliation. Candidate party affiliation is noted below.”
Each of these candidates has a contested primary race. Endorsements are based on high scores on the Cornerstone candidate survey, on voting records, and on consistency between surveys and votes.

Consumer confidence is reaching new heights and the economy is clicking along but not at Dick’s sporting goods.
In the Wall Street Journal report, Dick’s said that comparable store sales from the previous year had fallen 4 percent, and the company’s same-store sales from the previous year were down 1.9 percent.
The results, according to the report, were clearly weaker than expected — especially considering that consumer confidence for the month of August was the highest that it’s been in nearly two decades.
NPR went on a little crusade to explore school shooting data from a federal report only to discover that most of the ‘shootings’ never happened.
In an amusing story, a government-funded media outlet notorious for its liberal slant found that the overwhelming majority of school shootings listed in a federal report never occurred. The embarrassing blunder involves Department of Education (DOE) figures stating that schools around the U.S. reported an alarming 235 shootings in one year.
One of the highest forms of participation in society for the left is the obligation to pay taxes. It’s patriotic, it’s civic-minded, it’s all kinds of things, but most importantly it is a moral obligation.
And the left always wants everyone to give more because frankly there is no ceiling on how big their government can get or home mush it needs. So, you’ll hear all sorts of explanations for why we need more taxes or higher taxes. But before you let them off the hook ask that Democrat a few questions.

I hope Colin already cashed the check because being the face of loss is one thing but being the face of massive loss is not a keeper even for virtue-signaling multi-national corporations.
Senator Ben Sasse felt the need to use his time on day one of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing to explain a few things about the confirmation process, the role of the Court, the legislature. Basic stuff you’d think sitting US Senators should have figured out.
I guess not.
Tone deafness isn’t intentionally written into the New Hampshire Democrat Party Platform, but hypocrisy is. So, it makes sense that the same so-called “party of women” thought it would be a great idea to re-name their Jefferson-Jackson dinner (Men who had slaves!) the Kennedy-Clinton Dinner (Men who had sex slaves.)
This year the Democrats identity-crisis dinner is named after Eleanor Roosevelt (I guess Weiner Weinstein was out of the question?) but then invited Alec Baldwin as their keynote speaker.
Americans suffer from a political disability. They no longer understand the intent of the most fundamental organs of our government. If you as the typical American ask what a militia is, they will tell likely you that it is a group of people playing army in the woods. Or even worse, they will tell that it is people organizing to fight the government. If you ask them how a militia is formed, they will reply that someone just gets a bunch of friends to follow them. Appoints himself as leader and others as subordinate officers. All of this seems to proceed out of a mythology surrounding the American War for Independence.
There is an idea that local leaders simply decided to form militia companies, and other local people fell in behind them. Then they all just marched off to fight the British. Nothing could be further from the truth.
With August showing so much improvement in traffic it seemed like a good time to update our Alexa rankings and announce some changes. I’ve been including WMUR since the start but it occurs to me that a Television Channel website is not exactly a goal of ours. I’m not saying we couldn’t ever compete just that we can’t even try right now unless we start doing school closings or weather. That’s not happening so I’ve plucked them off our site list.
Who can we add that does compete? No one yet but I’m looking and perhaps you can help.
Remember the ‘Summer of Recovery?’ It became an annual “festival” celebrated by the media, and the left each and every season after the elevation of his majestic almighty greatness Obama I. Every summer henceforth shall be named recovery summer. We should have coined a catchy mysterious tagline like “Summer is coming.” But recovery summer never came.
Then we elected Donald Trump, and it finally arrived and in record fashion.

Before Democrats could have a choice between embattled incumbent Jeff Woodburn and any other candidate, there would have to be an “other” candidate. Woodburn, when accused of nine counts of domestic abuse, was unopposed. After the Attorney General announced the arrest and charges Kathleen Kelley stepped up to give North Country Democrats a choice.
Would it surprise you to know that Democrat party insiders don’t like choice?
August was a great month for our readers as a number of interesting Democrat scandals provided gist for the blogging mill. We also had heavy traffic on stories linked to both New Hampshire Republican primaries in CD-1 and CD-2. Then there’s the fledgling “New Hampshire is too white” commission which drove so much traffic that a post from July made the top ten in August.
