New Hampshire Democrat Wants to “Revoke …Tax Cuts Businesses Didn’t Ask For”

Remember when we said your voting record matters? We’ve got another example, and it ties in nicely with our congratulations to Republican Dan Hynes on his election win. He beat out one of those squishy Republicans with a lousy voting record in the State Senate District 9 primary. Terry Wolf is reputed to be a Bill Greiner special. Greiner runs Bedford, if you hadn’t heard. He owns the Town council, blah blah, blah.

Wolf is rumored to be Greiner’s Republican of preference. Soft on everything especially the Republican Platform and the NH and US Constitution. She lost, in part because of the same efforts by grassroots groups and activists to retire other Republicans with bad voting records.

But we’ve no time to pat ourselves on the back because the Democrat challenger for this seat is a bigger threat to liberty than Terry Wolf.

Kuster Silent On Women’s March Board Member Who Says, ‘Don’t Humanize Jews’

Congresswoman Ann Kuster is not the only New Hampshire Democrat supporter of the Women’s March, but we’ll use her as out locus for this discussion because she has publicly participated and praised the organization, one of whose founding members just told a room full of Muslims not to ‘humanize the jews.’

Does Ann Kuster, who takes large sums of money from the anti-Israel group J-Street, agree?

Steve Negron Wins Nomination in NH CD-2 Primary [Updated]

Congratulations to Steve Negron, his wife Terry, and the entire field team. They covered a lot of ground in a very crowded field and pulled off an impressive victory. A win that came sometime after midnight.

Not that I ever doubted it.

My goal, for the record, was to provide some video from the Negron campaign’s victory party. But my lovely wife and I have to get up early to work so we had to leave with only 88% of precincts reporting and the outcome still to close to call. That was just before 11pm.

US Sees Record Small Business Optimism – Democrats Promise To Take It All Away

Trump’s recovery summer continues to stack up wins as small business optimism piles on to an already impressive roll call.

From National Review.

Optimism among small-business owners reached a record high in August as Republican-passed tax cuts and deregulation began to bear fruit, according to a survey by the National Federation of Independent Business.

The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index hit 108.8 last month, the highest it’s been in the index’s 45-year history, beating the previous record of 108 set in 1983 under Republican president Ronald Reagan.

Democrat Coos County Vice Chair Resigns over Woodburn Scandal

If you don’t remember the name Ted Bosen, he’s the guy in some of the north country Democrat email threads I shared (here) who was offended by the way “The Party” treated an alleged victim of domestic abuse. That and the Democrat establishment wagon circling around State Sen. Jeff Woodburn, arrested on 9 counts of domestic abuse, … Read more

Get Off Your Ass and Vote!

Welcome to the New Hampshire Primary. It’s been a long time coming. We’ve been poked and prodded for our thoughts since before January. We’ve made an endorsement or two and posted op-eds from a number of candidates for races around the state. And today is the day.

Democrats are expected to come out in force to pick their candidates. Republicans are expected to do their nails and wash their hair or binge watch something on Netflix. It’s just a primary, after all.

My suggestion? Get off your ass and vote.

Kevin Hassett: No, This Is Not Obama’s Economy

Mr. Obama came out the other day to bash Mr. Trump for being a miserable president, then took credit for how good things are during the Trump Presidency.

No one on the left seems willing to make that challenge nor are they getting up and shouting all that much about how all their prognostications about the end of the world – should we cut taxes and regulations, or just elect Trump -have not only failed to come true, the opposite has happened.

The economy is booming, and it’s not because of Obama or any Democrat and here’s a guy to make that case.

If NH Dems Vote for Jeff Woodburn Are They Declaring a War on Women?

Jeff Woodburn is accused of domestic violence so if North Country New Hampshire Dems vote for Woodburn over the female primary challenger, what does that tell us? If Woodburn were a Republican and voters passed on a woman so they could vote for a man (arrested on nine counts of domestic violence) they’d all be pig-bigots … Read more

District 5 Executive Councilor Dave Wheeler has Endorsed Jane Cormier in her Republican Primary for Executive Council District 4. “I believe that Jane Cormier is the most principled candidate running for the Executive Council district four open seat. Obama is Back – Just in Time To Harpoon Democrat Chances in November

Nancy Pelosi is the most polarizing politician on the left. Invoking her name gets Republicans to the polls. Next in line for that honor is Barack Obama. The single most destructive force to Democrat election chances in American history.

When Obama speaks, Republicans show up to vote against Democrats. Last week Obama spoke. He called you racists and bigots. Does anyone have any doubt about how that will be received?

The NH Sierra Club Hates the Biomass Bailout Bill – Wait Till You Hear Why?

Catherine Corkery and James McCaffrey have an Op-Ed in today’s Union Leader supporting the veto of SB 365 and opposing an override by the New Hampshire Legislature. Corkery is the director of the NH Sierra Club and McCaffery is the “New England legislative director of the Partnership for Policy Integrity.” PFPI is an environmental action group that opposes woodburning “cuz it’s so dirty.”

They prefer Wind and Solar because, as the SB365 bailout bill proves, biomass “simply cannot survive without wasteful and ongoing subsidies from ratepayers and the public.” Say what!?

Mr. Trump’s Enemies Are Your Enemies

Conrad Black has an entertaining turn over at National Review titled Trump and His Enemies. It revisits the issue of Mr. Trump’s victory against both parties (for which his every-day American supports adore him) and how the ruling class establishment elites hate him for it.

Two pull quotes to tease it for you. First,

They are enemies and the president would not wish it any other way. He ran for office against both parties, the lobbyists, almost all the national political media, and the politically active elements of Wall Street, Hollywood, and Silicon Valley.

Obama Says Benghazi is a ‘Wild Conspiracy Theory’

Barack Obama likes attention, so he got up the other day and said stuff to get him some.

“But over the past few decades, the politics of division and resentment and paranoia has unfortunately found a home in the Republican party,” Obama said.

Obama then attacked Republican members of Congress, accusing them of embracing “wild conspiracy theories like those surrounding Benghazi.”

He got some.

NRA – Political Victory Fund Gives Steve Negron an “A” Rating

Steve Negron is the only NH CD-2 candidate to get an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund. That’s important because there are candidates who received an AQ rating, which the NRA explains as,

An “AQ” rating denotes a pro-gun candidate whose rating is based solely on responses to the NRA-PVF candidate questionnaire and does not have a voting record on Second Amendment issues.

That means they said all the right things on the survey but have no actual record to back that up.

US Oil Exports Increase 80% in 2018 – “Fuel” Job Growth and Economic Recovery

bakken-oil-rig-north-dakota-continental-resources
Bakken Oil Rig – North Dakota

Mr. Obama did a little dance the other day repeating the Trump Derangement Syndrome Narratives while taking credit for the Republican’s Economic recovery. Does that mean that Barry is laying claim to this economic boon?

U.S. crude oil exports saw an 80 percent increase in the first half of 2018 compared to the same period last year, according to the latest data and analysis issued Thursday by the Energy Information Administration.

That’s an increase of 787,000 barrels per day, to set a new monthly record in June of 2.2 million barrels on average per day.
