Kavanaugh Accuser Admits She Just Wanted Attention -Recants Rape Claim

The Democrat’s Kavanaugh outrage just took a Left-turn as another accuser has recanted a claim that Brett Kavanaugh raped them.

The story began on September 25 when staffers for Sen. Kamala Harris referred an anonymous letter to the committee which had been mailed to Harris’ office. Though the letter was anonymous (it was signed “Jane Doe”), it allegedly came from a woman in Oceanside, California. It claimed that Kavanaugh and another man had raped her repeatedly in the back seat of a car after offering her a ride home.

Judy Munro-Leighton, who opposed the Kavanaugh confirmation, claimed she was the author but now says she was just looking for attention.

She further confessed to Committee investigators that (1) she “just wanted to get attention”; (2) “it was a tactic”; and (3) “that was just a ploy.” She told Committee investigators that she had called Congress multiple times during the Kavanaugh hearing process – including prior to the time Dr. Ford’s allegations surfaced – to oppose his nomination. [Regarding] allegation(s) she made via her email to the Committee, she said: “I was angry, and I sent it out.” When asked by Committee investigators whether she had ever met Judge Kavanaugh, she said: “Oh Lord, no.”

She never even met the man.

Judy Munro-Leighton became so unhinged by her own anti-Kavanaugh party rhetoric that she invented an association with the nominee and accused him of raping her because it both advanced her political priorities and presented an opportunity to become a media darling of the left.

A Cable-News star. Perhaps even a well-to-do cable-news star with a fat crowd-funded pile of cash, which she may need if the FBI decides to prosecute her for potential violations of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1001 and 1505, for making materially false statements.

Julie Swetnick and her idiot-lawyer Michael Avenatti were referred to the FBI by Grassley at the end of October on similar charges.

Another gentleman, who claimed Kavanaugh assaulted a friend of his on a boat in August of 1985 recanted his story back in late September and was also referred to the FBI for investigation as well.

A “friendly” reminder of why the Kavanaugh circus riled up the right. A reminder to everyone on the political spectrum (and the A-Political) of where the left and their mob will stoop to get their way.

One more reminder. A Democrat House never pushes too hard for an investigation into false accusations against a political target. They don’t refer anyone to the FBI for materially false claims from the left. They may even retract existing requests should they win a majority this week.

Back women who make false charges against perceived opponents. Intimidate women who make abuse claims against Democrats.

Nice party you got there. Be a shame if anything were to happen to it electorally on November 6th.
