Some left-wing nutjobs are calling for mob protests in 900 cities tonight. Why? The stated purpose, as if Leftists need a reason, is Jeff Sessions replacement. Remember Jeff Sessions? He’s the guy Nancy Pelosi wanted fired in 2018.

Well, it’s 2018 and Mr. Trump asking for his resignation, (firing him) is no longer the only acceptable outcome, it is an effort to undermine the special counsel investigation.

See, “lying under oath” is acceptable to Democrats under the right circumstances. Like when it suits their political agenda. And there’s the rub.
The new acting AG, Matt Whitaker’s (No relation to Forest) thinks that Herr Mueller’s “investigation” had too much latitude. His authority was too large in scope. That it would devolve into a political fishing expedition.
Guess what, that’s all it has ever been.
Mueller has been fishing for years and so far all he’s got is hundreds of millions in wasted tax-dollars, indictments for things having nothing to do with collusion, and a few charges that people “people lied to the FBI.” For the record, anyone who has ever spoken to the FBI could be charged with that. Everone. It’s for when you need to justify spending millions on a political fishing expedition and come up empty.
Mueller’s basket smells fishy even though there’s nothing in it. But to the mob justice is about getting your way so the idea that the new acting AG will take over from Rod Rosenstein (who has more conflicts of interest than Session ever could) has got them triggered.
“Whitaker has publicly outlined strategies to stifle the investigation and cannot be allowed to remain in charge of it,” the Nobody Is Above the Law website states. “The Nobody Is Above the Law network demands that Whitaker immediately commit not to assume supervision of the investigation. Our hundreds of response events are being launched to demonstrate the public demand for action to correct this injustice.”
Rosenstein was part of the spying operation on the Trump team. The one that doesn’t want to unredacted documents showing the evidence used (and the evidence not used) to justify using secret foreign surveillance warrants to spy on the Presidential campaign of the current administrations political opponent.
Mob doesn’t care.
Mobs aren’t about justice or what’s right, or even legal. They are about intimidation. Upturning the day-to-day of regular Americans who – coincidentally – were subjected to two years of non-stop campaigning against Mr. Trump and Republicans with the full force of the National media behind them, and handed the GOP more Senate Seats, and less of a Democrat majority in the House than the Republicans had.
Imagine if 30 GOP incumbents from the US House (or was it 40?) hadn’t decided to step down and not seek re-election?
The mob might find themselves even more unhappy in losing that they are unhappy in winning.
But then the left is never happy. Not really. They can’t be. Their entire agenda is based on the complete failure of society to do anything correct including their benevolent god-government. If Democrat/Socialism ever did manage to get it right, the next step would be for it to immediately divest itself of any need for them.
Who among you can honestly see the ruling class establishment announcing their mass retirement because utopia had been achieved? Never. Instead, you get, we need more money, power, always at your expense.
Sadly, the mob doesn’t know this or has bought into the lie that in the end, they’ll be sitting at the big table.
