As a few lawmakers engaged in a publicity stunt last Saturday to press for a state-imposed $15 minimum wage, New Hampshire employers were raising wages and offering cash incentives in desperate efforts to attract workers.
The Federal unemployment rate improved half a percent to 7.9%. Here in New Hampshire, the seasonally adjusted rate dropped 0.6%. State unemployment sits at 6% as the outlook continues to improve.

If you cloister yourself with wing-nuts and Never-Trumpers there is no world in which you live where hating this President is not normal. But most of America isn’t there so don’t be surprised when you get the side-eye over things like this.
The comprises budget signed by Gov. Sununu sucks. It spends more, and it’s got Easter eggs, more suitably named poison pills. But it’s not a total loss. It proves that New Hampshire Democrats were lying about tax hikes.
