Joe Biden centrist Democrat is the party talking point. It is misleading in the extreme. Most people grasp President Trump is better for our economy than Joe Biden. They think that old Uncle Joe’s economic plan is relatively harmless.
Democrats have spent a lot of time in recent years trying to shake off the label of “socialist.” Barack Obama used to brush it aside, scoff at it. When Joe Biden was asked about it recently, he answered more directly, boasting, “I beat the socialist…Do I look like a socialist?”
The Democrat Party is offering America an unusual choice, and crazy is winning. The front runner is crazy Uncle Joe Biden. He is obviously struggling to keep it together. The party is providing him with handlers. The public needs protection from the candidate.
The Democrat party has left Bernie Sanders. Michigan, Bernie’s hope for a big win in a big state went Biden 53% to 36%. The rest of yesterday didn’t go well, either.
Alex Friedmann is a former Sanders campaign criminal justice adviser. Friedmann helped shape the current Democrat front-runner’s policies on the issue. But should old Alex be faulted for acting on his beliefs about criminal justice reform?
Michael Bloomberg’s campaign office in Knoxville, Tenn., was vandalized. A campaign volunteer reports finding the damage early Friday morning. Glass doors and windows at the candidate’s office got spray-paint. The messages left employ offensive language and paper signs were left reading “Authoritarian,” “Classist” and “Oligarch.”
President Trump is in Manchester tonight and the New Hampshire primary is tomorrow. The first contest with actual results (dig!). And with one day to go an Emerson Poll has Sanders in first at 30% and Biden in 5th with Only 10%.
However the Iowa Caucus turns out there is a lack of trust in the outcome. Three days later the count the results are “97% tallied.”
Iowa’s Democratic Party announces a preliminary winner of their caucus… The selection comes on partial results that probably will change. (and have). With 62% of Iowa precincts reporting the results of Monday’s caucus, the results looked like this.
We are officially in the primary season. The Iowa caucuses tonight will provide the first tangible results of this already-chaotic process. From here on in it isn’t conjecture that matters it is voters and caucus-goers. We are entering the realm of numbers, percentages, and statistics.
