Many School Board Members believe THEY know what’s best for your children – and NOT YOU! They believe they can ignore you with impunity when making decisions that impact your children because of the advice they receive from their attorneys and organizations like the New Hampshire School Boards Association (NHSBA).

Breaking: NH State School Boards Association Withdraws Membership from the NSBA
The New Hampshire School Boards Association (NHSBA) has formally and immediately withdrawn its membership with the National School Boards Association (NSBA)
The NSBA Apologizes … To NSBA Members, NOT Parents
When the National School Boards Association sent a letter to the United States Attorney General making a comparison of parents to domestic terrorists I knew that would backfire. You can’t fire off shots at a mama bear who is defending her cubs.
How Many Raped Girls, Does it Take to Secure the Girls Restroom in NH Schools?
A girl was raped and sodomized in her high school restroom, and the school administrator appears to have hidden this information from parents.
URGENT Warning: Your Daughters Could Be at Grave Risk for Sexual Assault at School.
WARNING on EXPLICIT MATERIAL BELOW: Several years ago the New Hampshire School Boards Association (NHSBA) put forward a model policy for all school districts in New Hampshire. This policy was criticized by parents for putting girls at risk for sexual assault.
The Attack on Parents by the U.S. Attorney General Is Backfiring
Parents have every right to speak their minds at school board meetings. These are parents whose children are directly impacted by the decisions their board members make. When you hurt their children, they are going to speak up. If you are not listening to them, they are going to continue speaking up.
So, the National School Board Assoc. wanted Biden to go after Parents? Biden obliges: US Attorney Merrick Garland’s Enforcement Letter
The NSBA wants Parents that oppose local school board policies to be viewed as “Domestic Terrorists” according to a letter sent to President Biden. So, right on cue, US AG Garland issues such a letter.
So, after reading this, I asked my School Board last night if they think we are as well
All summer long, we’ve seen story after story of angry parents trying to get local School Boards to even just ACKNOWLEDGE that their concerns MATTER! That the stuff that schools are bringing in to indoctrinate their kids should NEVER have been in the schools in the first place. They just get ignored.
ONT – Teaching Schools Board Members to Act like Easter Island Statues Edition
The Gilford School Board modeled it perfectly for years – while they have had “Public Comment” sessions (sometimes called “Public Input”) at the top and bottom of the meetings, they’d just sit there, stonefaced as if if they were just on display.
The Taxpayer Funded Activists Who Secretly Whisper in the Ears of School Board Members
Local taxpayers fund the professional membership dues of school district principals, superintendents, special needs administrators, and school board members to advocate for political change within your public schools.
SDGANH: Home Schooling Model Policy
The New Hampshire School Boards Association (NHSBA) recently provided to their member boards a draft of Policy IHBG regarding home education. Granite State Home Educators (GSHE) did an analysis of the NHSBA policy draft and found that their proposed policy has several problematic components.
Gilford School Board – October meeting. Leftist arguments on full display
I’m late in putting these videos up of the Gilford School Board’s October meeting where Policy JBAB, the 2008 NH School Board Association’s transgender policy was to be “read” and it was clear that the battle lines had already been drawn up and I think THE operational statement comes down to this: “You will be … Read more
What to do: Gilford School Board Stonewalls a Right-to-Know Demand
Just because you’ve thrown 28 pages at someone and called them “responsive” doesn’t mean you have answered an RSA 91-A demand. Which is what GSD Superintendent Kirk Beitler did.
NH House Education Committee – HB101 & HB564: The NHSBA just made everyone’s jaws drop to the floor (THUD!)
As I said earlier, GraniteGrok and our cameras were in Concord (NH) at the State Legislative Office Building to cover two sets of hearings having to do with bills being heard that would impact gun rights. Two have been given to the NH House Education Committee: HB101 having to do “This bill allows a school … Read more
Is Your Local School Board Breaking the Law?
Ann Marie Banfield, writing last week, pointed out that some school boards around the state pay membership dues to the New Hampshire School Board Association (NHSBA) which then lobbies the legislature. State law prohibits the School Board from using any taxpayer dollars (so no money from the school budget) to pay those “dues.” It is … Read more
How The NH School Boards Association Put Children At Risk for Sexual Assault
Most school districts pay the New Hampshire School Boards Association (NHSBA) dues out of the school budget. This means that taxpayers are funding a lobbying organization that promoted a policy that put every child in New Hampshire at risk of sexual assault. The NHSBA sent a model policy to school districts that paid dues to … Read more
Tales from the SDGANH
Ah yes, another series like my Tales from the Budcomm. SDGANH (logo coming soon) is the School District Governance Association for NH; consider it the Conservative / Libertarian alternative to the Socialist / Collective leaning School Board Association of NH (who have already made it clear they will brook no dissent or competition from the Right). Today is their Annual meeting and I’ll have a few bon mots as it goes along. This is their second Annual meeting (at the Nackey Loeb School of Education).
If you are a Conservatarian (or leaning) and on a School Board or a Budget Committee dealing with a School Board, this is the place to be you need to be here. If you think that the School Board is supposed to represent the taxpayers instead of being boosters of the Superintendent, you need to be here. If you know that you are supposed to be representing your taxpayers and not just the school system / SAUs, you need to be here.

Is My School Board Ready To Run On The NHSBA Agenda?
Irritating the Bureaucracy makes me smile. Irritating the lobbying arm of the bureaucracy that disguises itself as something else is even better. And that is what my friend Gary Krupp has done on his maiden voyage into the Blogosphere. (Welcome to the deep end of the pool.)
Gary gives us an update on the local effort at damage control by the pro-lobbyist faction in town; the New Hampshire School Board Association (NHSBA) was invited to perform for the school board, which like some corpulent monarch was adequately amused to continue offering them indulgences…it is not, after all, their money.
The School Board lapped it up. They threw a few softballs Mr. Comstock’s way, and then discussed the process for submitting resolutions of their own for the upcoming NHSBA delegate assembly.
Thank you sire, thank you…
