Since the imposition of Obama on the Nation, we’ve been forced to endure endless prattle over our transportation future. Part of the prescription includes electric vehicles (EV). And while there are plenty of problems, from economics to infrastructure, to practicality, the biggest one for Democrats is revenue.
It’s not law yet, but I’d be interested in seeing that happen. Illinois has legislation that demands 5-year’s worth of tax returns or Trump won’t be on the November 2020 ballot.
In May of last year, we reported on a new phenomenon – certainly new to Illinois. Sanctuary counties for gun owners. Places where state-level gun grabbing laws would not be enforced. Shortly after one Illinois community in one of those counties responded by passing a town ban on assault weapons.
Democrats have been heaping hatred and wishing death on political opponents and their families for years. Police in Wilmette, Illinois recently considered charges against a mother for letting her 8-year-old daughter walk the family dog around the block unsupervised. Predictably, a lot of people are reacting with incredulity. ‘How can something like this even happen?’ they want to know.

A disgruntled former student shows up during Graduation rehearsal and starts shooting. Resource Officer responds, follows, and shoots the suspect, who was the only one injured.
A school resource police officer is being lauded as a hero for intervening when a former student at Dixon High School opened fire Wednesday morning near the school gym where students were gathered for a graduation rehearsal, authorities said.
At least five counties recently passed resolutions declaring themselves sanctuary counties for gun owners — a reference to so-called sanctuary cities such as Chicago that don’t cooperate with aspects of federal immigration enforcement.
And, naturally, the Democrats don’t much care for it.

The Village of Deerfield, Illinois has passed an ordinance requiring owners of so-called “assault weapons” and “large capacity” magazines to turn them in, destroy them, render inoperable, or remove them from the Village within 60 days or face fines up to $1000 for each offense.
If you do not turn in your illegal contraband or those fines aren’t paid, government enforcers (active duty law enforcement), who are of course exempt from this ban, will be sent to your house with their “assault weapons” to kidnap you and send you to jail, or kill you for resisting.
Rick Manning from American’s for Limited Government explains the situation in Dubuque and Chicago,with HUD. If your community took HUD money, you are Dubuque, and the nearest major city is your Chicago, and if HUD pulls this trigger, you may not be able to do a damn thing about it.

Dick Durbin, Richard, Rick, Ricky, Dicky, Dickard, The Dickster Durbin is suggesting an intervention for his state of Illinois. Apparently the tax and spender state implemented an internet sales tax on retailers. They were thinking that it might help them with their budget problem; I guess they left Terie “Billion Dollar Deficit” Norelli in charge of spending over there as well.
Democrats like to make up rules for Republicans which I then do my best to apply to democrats. In this example we have a donor to Carol Shea Porter who has been up to some questionable behavior. If Carol doe snot denounce it she is complicit in it. So pay attention.
Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill)–remember Jan, she’s on that socialist party list–has apparently helped bail out a local Illinois bank outside her district. What’s wrong with that? Nothing unless you are one of the small banks in her district that she allowed to fail. Nothing, unless you know that the bank in question appears to have donated to Senator Dick Durbin, Ms. Schakowsky, Obama and has connections to a distinguished list of Chicago insiders, many of whom are currently hanging with the man at 1600. Even the Clinton’s and MoveOn.org have roots in SouthShore. And nothing at all unless that bank just happens to be a bank Jan’s husband used to help him find a way out of his bank kiting scheme before he went to the big house.
