The political left is anti-freedom. That much is clear. It also thrives on violence and threats of violence.
But as any scary, dangerous, wild-eyed, right-wing, extremist, believer-in-the-Constitution can explain, the only time that violence is philosophically justifiable is in defense of life, rights, and property.
The political left, on the other hand—including so-called liberals, activist Democrats, union thugs, and other fellow-traveling fascists—always seems to feature anti-liberty scabs using intimidation and threats of violence.
And it seem to work just fine! For instance….
Fergus Cullen has some advice in his Union Leader column this morning.(print or e-edition) Resolutions that do not include exercise or dieting, to quote the author. They are all of course political, the most entertaining of which is a suggestion that Carol Shea-Porter run for President. 
The dust up in Bedford over the Book ‘Nickel and Dimed’ continues to linger in the local news–which reminded me that back in 2009 we had a similar situation in the sleepy town of Litchfield where comments by locals and students emerged in defense of the material on the grounds that its exclusion would constitute book banning and or violate protected free speech rights.
Ryan Williams (GOP Spokesperson) just pulled a Kathy Sullivan. He’s filed a complaint with the AG over an out of state Ad attacking John Stephen. The democrats of course think this is hypocritical, you know, to act just like they do. And maybe it is. Or maybe Kathy is afraid Ryan will get an overflowing complaint drawer at the AG’s office just like hers. 
The left has oft times suggested that we need transparency in political advertising. That people deserve to know who is paying for a political ad. While this sounds like a good idea on its surface the legislative remedies the pro-government elites tend to propose turn out to be the equivalent of using a sledge hammer to hit a thumbtack. And their obsessive desire to protect and defend the government from the enemy that is the Constitution (I really think they should just change their oath of office to reflect that truth) will forever produce restrictions on speech that are unacceptable to anyone who understands the first amendment in even its most un-convoluted context.

Reading Paul Hodes blog at the daily KoS is the literary-equivalent of watching monkeys throw poo. What is perhaps more disgusting is that the KoS Kids roll in it like heather and serve it to each other as if it were pâté de foie gras , encouraging their own sheer ignorance as they dance nine times widdershins about the burning remnants of the US constitution.
