It is easy to find the “man in the street” videos again (or, I’m just better at stumbling over them), especially those made by younger people asking (what should be rather easy questions) of their cohort. Easy being “at least in the ballpark.” Sadly,” easy” seems to really mean “unobtainable.”

NH Recommends in Person K-12 Education Beginning in September
The Governor’s Office has released a 49-page report on (to boil it all down) how to get kids back in the classroom beginning in September. In other words, the recommendation is in-person teaching from the beginning of the school year.
“We Hold These Truths: Our Answer To The Mob”
It is our teachers and public education, writ large, that have failed the country; by not teaching Civics and History correctly or adequately. For not turning the barbarians-in-training into knowledgeable and invested Citizens. Instead, they have turned YOUR children against this nation and its history.
THIS SHOULD SCARE THE CRAP out of Parents with Elementary Age Kids in Public Schools
I’ve been putting up “Man in the street” interviews ever since our humble beginnings. And I am never surprised by how illiterate young people are about our history and how the Government (which DEPENDS on citizens knowing its form) works.
“History is not supposed to make you feel good or bad. History is your best defense against ignorance”
Every country has written great pages and dark pages in History. For the United States, slavery and the Civil War that brought an end to it were definitely some of the darkest pages. And we must never forget.
Don’t let COVID Derail Your College Plans
The COVID-19 pandemic caused a huge disruption to New Hampshire students when our schools shifted to remote instruction in April. But that’s not the only disruption faced by New Hampshire families.
Danger Coming to Your Children Enrolled in a Public School? CALL THE GOVERNOR!
Over the years, local public schools have lost more autonomy than anyone is aware of. So much of what we see failing our public schools comes from education reforms that have been mandated in our public schools.
NH Dems Take Note: Massachusetts Has Mass Public School Teacher Layoff ‘cuz COVID19
Towns in Massachusetts are laying off public school teachers. In some cases, more than one hundred per district. Why? The COIVID19 shutdown Democrats were so hot for has harpooned tax revenues: no commerce, no money, no revenues, no paychecks.
NH Democrat Jeanne Deitsch – Elitist White-Tower Snob
We warned New Hampshire about Democrat candidate Jeanne Dietsch, (Sen. Dist 9), but not enough Republicans turned out to keep her from winning in the 2018 Blue Wave election. An error they should be sure to correct come November. Why?
So Manchester Board of School Committee Jim O’Connell, do YOU know how to close the Achievement Gap without more spending?
Money doesn’t cure all ills. MANCHESTER Jim O’Connell now sits on the Board of School Committee. His claim to fame has been his constant call for MORE SPENDING in the schools (see screencap, below). He put out a statement on racism in the Manchester schools so I thought I’d send him a reply: I’m going to … Read more
This Rot we’re Seeing with BLM Riots Started in Our School Systems.
Now that you’ve seen the mayhem in action, where is this coming from? Why does it appear to be mainly young people who are rioting and expressing their Marxist views? LOOK NO FURTHER THAN YOUR LOCAL PUBLIC SCHOOL.
Stopping Petty Tyrannies Is How We Beat the Serious Ones
My dentist called today with a reminder for an upcoming scheduled appointment. We confirmed the date and time. Then the office worker said the practice requires patients to wear face masks. It made me pause for a moment.
Are Public School Teachers Giving Up on a Normal School Year for 2020-2021 (And is that Bad?)
File this under people send me stuff. A teacher who shall remain anonymous (no relation to me in case you are curious) shared some observations from several teachers’ groups with which they are a member. Summary: people are ALREADY giving up on a typical school year next year.
Op-Ed: For Some Students, a ‘One-Size-Fits-All’ Public School Education Just Doesn’t Work
We couldn’t believe what we were hearing a few weeks ago when Nashua’s Executive Councilor Debora Pignatelli stated on WMUR’s Close Up that she believes the education of students at private schools or public charter schools are not “legitimate concerns” of our elected state officials.
NH Dem Deb Pignatelli: Some NH Educations are “More Equal” than Others
A New Hampshire Democrat Executive Councilor has a problem when it comes to New Hampshire’s students and federal funding. Some students and their educations, in her mind, are “more equal” than others.
Pro Tip for Remote Schooling
Many students — and their parents — have been caught off guard by the COVID-induced transition from on-site schooling to remote schooling. However, there is a technology — which many students already have access to — that can help make up for the loss of classroom teaching time. Let me describe what it is, and how it works.
Back to School Budgets in the Age of Wuhan Flus
If the threat of the Chinese Wuhan Virus is to be taken seriously enough that government schools had to be closed for the rest of the year it might be time to re-think public education operating out of huge child and administrator warehouses.

We Are At War To Be ‘We The People’ Again
The Democrats (D’s) want President Donald Trump out of the White House. Every other consideration, even mass starvation or death, seems irrelevant to them. They simply do not care. That’s what the ‘D’ really stands for… DEATH.
