Angry, violent leftists (that’s redundant) are promising to be angry and violent if they don’t get their way.
One Twitter user, claiming to be a member of the far-left militia organization, Redneck Revolt, quote tweeted (archived here) Emily saying that he “didn’t join Redneck revolt for no reason”, the implication of course being that he is “down” for armed political violence.

A few days ago, we reported on a survey of Dartmouth student’s that questions their tolerance and diversity when it comes to dating, befriending, or just interacting with someone who has opposing political beliefs. There were no surprises. Democrats shunned the idea while Republicans were much more accepting.
Further down in the same survey were data about how these students view Free Speech on campus.
My post about Antifa calling for its adherents to disarm “fascists” (who are merely exercising their Second Amendment Rights while Antifa is, well, acting like real fascists in denying speech and other rights and bullying everyone else) caught some attention. Especially Grokster Rick who served as a US Marine, headed up the armory at Parris Island, is a former police officer, and is an expert firearms instructor. So at our impromptu Grokster gathering, he did an impromptu video lesson as to why things would not go well for Antifa if they tried such an act.
Antifa – the new brownshirts of the Democrat Socialists. It really is what they are – the newest version of the Klan and the Nazi / Mussolini brownshirts; few leading Democrats have it suitable to disavow their riot provoking activities. To summarize in simple terms, these “anti-fascists” believe that not all speech is permissible and that “hate speech” (which is anything to which they disagree with) is the same as actual physical violence. Hence, they have the RIGHT to stop you from speaking in any way that they can, including fists, elbows, knees, legs, boots, bats, shields, tear gas, knives, and of course, swinging bike locks. In the Left’s new world order you are not allowed to disagree with progressive doctrine even if you are a Jewish immigrant of 30 years who creates jobs that employ immigrants.
Asher Shalom is a legal immigrant from Israel and businessman who employs many immigrants. He recently opened a new cafe in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles. Locals and the business community were welcoming until it became known that Shalom had shared something on social media which showed support for Trump’s immigration policies.
Tolerance and diversity except for Trump.
Progressive arguments for campaign finance reform (see also, the false getting money out of politics narrative) have nothing to do with transparency or money. They are about exposing donor lists to intimidation by left-wing thugs to suppress donations, and the speech they would afford political opponents.
Alternately or should I say Alt-Lefternately, Antifa, one of the Progressives thug armies hides its identity while actively suppressing speech Democrats (coincidentally) oppose. They attack people, destroy property, and use intimidation to suppress actual speech. Some GOP lawmakers have proposed legislation to amp up the penalties for those who actually commit certain crimes while “masked.”
Antifa is not happy.
After the Democrat’s T.E.A. Party shellacking in 2010, there emerged a new narrative called the new civility. The violent left moved to paint the victorious right as uncivil while panhandling the idea that the Left was the party of Civility. We took them to task then, as always, because they’ve never been civil. Democrat-Socialism can’t advance in such an environment, and they know it. But they tried to sell civility. Even Sen. Shaheen got on board.
Sure it was a lie, but at least they were pretending. Not anymore. Good luck finding a committed rejection of the violence and incivility being peddled all the way up and down the Liberal “food” chain.
