Getting To Know Members of Antifa

Why we should get to know Antifa?

We should get to know the individuals who operate political organizations. What they say is often what attracts us to their organization. What they do reflects their organization, the organizations that associate with them and the individuals who support them and act in concert with them. So let’s meet a couple of Antifa leaders.

Meet Joseph Alcoff

The Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) yesterday reported that, Washington, D.C. Antifa leader Joseph Alcoff, aka “Chepe”, aka “Jose”, aka “sabokitty” was arrested and charged with multiple felonies. The charges stem from a Philadelphia Antifa mob attack against two Marines in November. Mr. Alcoff faces 17 charges, including aggravated assault, ethnic intimidation, conspiracy and terroristic threats, and robbery while inflicting serious bodily injury. There are multiple counts of some of the charges. DCNF has reported on Antifa before. They did a story titled “Antifa Leader Relied On Anonymity To Push Radical, Violent Communist Agenda”.

Court records indicate the victims of the mob attack in Philadelphia testified that a group of 10 to 12 Antifa members called them “Nazis” and “white supremacists”. The Antifa members attacked them on the street despite their denials that they had no association with a right-wing group demonstrating nearby.

At the time of the attack Torres, one of the victims, provided police pictures of the suspects. Philadelphia Magazine reported, citing an affidavit filed in Alcoff’s case, Torres notified detectives in Philadelphia that Alcoff was a member of the group that attacked him. The DCNF’s prior reporting detailing Alcoff’s connection to Keenan was part of locating the accused.

Alcoff is an organizer of Smash Racism DC, the Antifa group responsible for mobbing Fox News host and DCNF co-founder Tucker Carlson’s house in November and for chasing Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz from a D.C. restaurant in September. These acts have been widely applauded and even emulated by members of the Democrat Party.

Alcoff has made significant efforts to separate his true identity from his Antifa personas, “Chepe” and “Jose Martin.” When speaking as Chepe and through his Twitter handle @sabokitty, Alcoff has called for the killing of the rich. He encourages using violence to bring “a world without capitalism, without private property … that is socialist and communist.” Alcoff pled not guilty to the charges. He is currently out on bail. Mr. Alcoff is innocent until proven guilty.

Who else is Antifa?

Two others Thomas Keenan and Thomas Massey were arrested in November in connection to the beating. Mr. Keenan has been called a “leader” of Antifa in the Philadelphia area. He was also arrested and charged with rioting alongside Alcoff in New Jersey in 2011.

Conclusion:

The question now should be how can a serial violent offender; a professional anarchist, be allowed to continue to operate. Wouldn’t that require political sanction? We know or should have known that this person has not and will not operate within the law. Violent confrontation is not protected political speech.

Why is the Democrat party not distancing itself from the “brown-shirt” like activity of this network of thugs? These known Antifa “activists are not being taken off our streets? Is there a reason for that? Oh, that’s right, the cities in this countries are politically controlled by the Democrat Party… They control the prosecutors and the top law enforcement positions. Want to know why our streets aren’t safer? Look to the top of elected political positions in our cities.
