And now Axelrod is calling out the Progressive troops – Democrat Operatives with bylines

“To you and your whole crew have a powerful influence on the political scene,

you have an obligation as well to check some of these allegations”

Axelrod – Obama’s svengali of campaign, is probably STILL shaking in his boots.  How could that know-nothing, that businessman turned politician, that CAPITALIST, outsmart the country’s best Community Organizers whose head is forever encased in the Holy Light of Progressive Thought (Peace be upon Obamessiah) that has been so effective in dismantling America As We Knew It.  My GOSH, that usurper even bowed to the words in the Constitution and Declaration – BLASPHEMY!

And yet, the CAPITALIST kicked my guy’s butt all up and down the stage – did he know who he was talking to?  Where was the respect for the First Black President Of The United States (er, Bill Clinton aside).

So know he’s going to the shock troops for Democrat purposes – the Media (H/T: The Corner):

But Axelrod already has a BIG problem – they’ve been on this case, this Mission for Liberalism, for months now. They’ve painted Romney as

And Dems want to turn this behavior into a NH Value?

Childhood – expected dependency (that’s what kids are: dependent on their parents).

Adulthood? Not so much. But Barack’s campaign site thinks so.  Are we becoming a nation of dependent “children”?  Are we all that unwilling to put aside childish mannerisms (“Mommy, can I have a cookie?  Daddy, can I have a ten?”) and no longer are willing to act like adults?  Should adults put on a mantle of expecting everything to be given to them?

Sandra Fluke was the first thing that shot through my mind as I read this note (as in “hey Dad, tuition is not the only thing that is due at the end of the week – can that be my 32 Birthday present?”). Isn’t her insistence of demanding someone else paying for her responsibility the embodiment of the perpetual dependent child mentality?  At least the letter writer put the burden on her family; Sandra Fluke has determined that it is fine and proper for Government to be “her parent”; in that most intimate human acts, her claim to fame is to demand that Government provide for her”reproductive activities health”.

I will say this – I would never have ever thought of going “Yo, Dad?  You know what I need $18 grand for”?  Just the THOUGHT of even having the thought to ask is shameful.  Yes, shameful.

Yet, this is a Democrat Value – after all, Sandra Fluke spoke at one of Obama’s campaign rallies.  Given that it seems that the Democrat Party is fullbent “forward” on any policy that changes the relationship of and in a traditional family (how else would they EVER get Government to be “the parent”?

As offensive as it might seem to feminists and Bigger Government Progressives who believe that the Purpose and Role of Government is to provide for all of our needs in a libertine behavior world, when you strip out all of the yammering, this note writer’s message gets stripped down to telling Mommy “how mean it is that some faceless bureaucrat isn’t going to go grab some money from a taxpayer, run to the pharmacy, purchase her contraceptives, and deliver them straight away”. Oh, to be sure, there is gonna be some Progressive out there screaming “How dare you deny us, you discriminator!”.

Put a sock in it as I’m not interested in your whining any more.

Founders: Government exists to create environment for citizens to create wealth. Obama: Government exists to extract wealth from citizens

We remember back to the Declaration of Independence: “pursuit of happiness”, which the meaning of the Founders for the word “happiness” was Private Property.  The founding philosophy was that Government was to be a neutral player; it set the table in a flat, even handed fashion in creating the rules and then backed out of the way and let citizens go about creating their wealth in a manner they saw fit, with the intensity of effort and innovation that fit them and their goals.

Winners and Losers picked by Government as a matter of course?  Nope!

Obama seemingly has never had that as a grounding philosophy – raised by a mother who had a philosophy, by all accounts I’ve read, of an anti-Americanism, fathers / husbands that left she and Barry after some period of time, spending formative years in Hawaii at the “Red Church”, and mentored by outright Socialists, Marxists, and Communists.  By his own hand:

To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structured feminists and punk-rock performance poets. We smoked cigarettes and wore leather jackets. At night in the dorms, we discussed neocolonialism, Franz Fanon, Eurocentrism and patriarchy. When we ground out our cigarettes in the hallway carpets or set our stereos so loud the walls began to shake, we were resisting bourgeois society’s stifling conventions…

And in my opinion, never truly learned what American Exceptionalism is all about; instead, he was taught to despise it.  And he became the President without really understanding in his soul what America was all about – only a black Marxist nightmare doppelganger of it.  I will say one thing – he hid it well until it was too late for us.  Now, in yet another piece of vetting (that the MSM should have done before the LAST election), it comes out that ““When you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody” in 2007 was being formulated well before that in 1998:

What that means then is that as we try to resuscitate this notion that we’re all in this thing together, leave nobody behind, we do have to be innovative and thinking what are the delivery systems that are actually effective and meet people where they live. And my suggestion, I guess would be that the trick, and this is one of the few areas where I think there are technical issues that have to be dealt with as opposed to just political issues. I think the trick is figuring out how do we structure government systems that pool resources and hence facilitate some redistribution because I actually believe in redistribution, at least at a certain level to make sure everybody’s got a shot.

And now for a bit of honesty…

Data Point: Household Incomes down 8.2% under Obama Administration

Note: the time limit for Obama to keep blaming Bush has expired.  The time limit has been reached and expired in which Obama can keep blaming what he inherited – he campaigned for the job. A reply to a commenter on Steve’s “About All that Ron Paul business…”

which can be found here concerning the RNC, delegates, Ron Paul speaking / not speaking, nomination, and the like.  His problem was not with Ron Paul but with his supporters.  I concur (having had to deal with nastiness of some even back in 2008).  So he (and I) expected some commenters in opposition and our expectations were met.

Given the set up here at the ‘Grok, I also get notification (and have to approve / disapprove) of comments inbound on all the posts.  Given that Steve’s post was almost a month old, when a comment by RageFury came in today, I spent the time reading that long comment in which much time had to have been spent.  But one line:

“I previously thought you guys were better than this…”

caught my eye and of course I had to answer:

“nor will I vote for Obama who only gets a potential 4 more years of horrible country crushing policy” and ” I previously thought you guys were better than this.”

To the former – to use that old phrase: “You ain’t see nothing yet!”  Obama has figured out that with the Senate locked up by Reid, and the House Rs cowering behind the idea that they’d be responsible for a shutdown if they even thought about growing a spine, Obama has become enamored with doing what he wants without Congress – an FDR on steroids by issuing declaration upon decree.  He has become addicted to being a dictator – he knows that he can do what ever he wants NOW and when the Courts nullify a Dept decree, the Secretary of the Dept just uses another way to do it all again (e.g., Salazar in stopping drilling in the Gulf, the NLRB’s actions, and the FCC at doing Net Neutrality by other means, just to name three).  Recent History is very much predictive of what he will do the next four – only much faster, much bigger and FAR more Liberty destroying than this first term.  You think he’s packed on the Debt thus far?  His next target, already under attack, is Liberty and Freedom and he is well on the way to destroying that.

And you, RageFury, among others that will not pull the lever for Obama’s enemy…

Indeed – the next President will inherit a mess

A loyal reader sent this in: Obama has made a habit of blaming everything that has gone wrong during his Administration on his immediate predecessor. This will be fun to watch for a little bit, as we all circle and swirl around the drain if Obama get re-elected… (H/T: Dan)

Fall is the time for yard sales…..are you doing one for Obama??

Ugh.  First, the audacity of asking that in lieu of a wedding gift as you and your spouse start your new life together, consider having them just send money to a political campaign (Obama’s).  I know Michelle all wants us to move more and eat less better, but to skip a meal and then send … Read more

Just listen to his own words – nothing new….

One of the most devastating and humiliating things that can happen to a politician is to use their own words against them.  It’s rather easy to do nowadays – the Internet forgets NOTHING and the barrier to play this game is about zilch. “By their words, ye shall know them”

Guest Post / Movie Review by Steve Patton – “2016”

Both Groksters Mike and Tom put up posts concerning the now out move “2016” – the stealth movie on Barack Obama (“who or what is he really?”).  ‘Grok friend, Steve Patton, went to see the movie today and offered to write a quick review of his thoughts:

I took my family to see Dinesh D’Souza’s “2016” at the Fox Run Mall, just one day after it’s release.  I can lay claim to being somewhat of a student of Barack Obama, having read his autobiography “Dreams From My Father” in 2008 as his election drew near.  I published a website (now only found on the Wayback Machine) of direct quotes from the book, hoping to dissuade my countrymen from electing this anti-American as their next president, alas to no avail.

Much of the material for the movie “2016” comes from the book “Dreams From My Father” and is heavily supplemented by extensive research done by D’Souza. The movie is engaging, and insightful.  My teenage children were equally interested in the content, sparking healthy conversations on the way home. Be forewarned, however, that the movie is not hopeful.  A nation foolish enough to elect Obama once may indeed be foolish enough to do it again.

The key insight of the movie is the identification of Obama’s core principles. The journey to discover those principles is as unsettling as it is illuminating.  The movie analyzes a number of confusing decisions by the President which highlight his true values even as they disorient most Americans and even traditional Democrats:

GrokTV: Rochester City Council – Pleading and venting

The last post – full out complaining that the Rochester (NH) City Council should not have subsidized the Obama Presidential campaign stop by expending taxpayer monies and not billing the Obama campaign (not that he’s bothering to pay – just that kind of guy, he is).  Here are more folks going after the City Council for the same thing, but at the same time asking them that the Councilors NOT sign onto the Federal mandates (EPA, DOT, HUD) of the Sustainable Communities Initiative known here in New Hampshire as the Granite State Future plan.

Jerry Delemus, head of the Rochester 9/12 Project (one of the most visible and well known of the Liberty& Freedom groups in the State):

GrokTV Special Interview: Sue DeLemus

I have known Sue for a few years now as a TEA Party / Rochester 9-12 Project member – and an utterly devoted person to her Bible, the US and NH Constitutions, and her guns (and her hubby, Jerry).  I guess that the Obama Administration and the NH Democrat Party would call her a bitter, clinger, extremist.  Me?  A Patriot!

A first time NH House Legislator this session (R-Rochester, Strafford 1), the ‘Grok caught up with her at last night’s Rochester City Council meeting (concerning Public Input on The Granite State Future Plan that is supporting the Obama Administration’s Sustainable Communities Initiative (spearheaded by the money carrots to change local zoning ordinance to suit the EPA, DOT, and EPA; listen to Grokster Tom as he speaks here).

I asked some questions of her – listen up!

She also testified in front of the Rochester City Council on both the Granite State Future Plan as well as the decision by the Rochester City Council to spend $9,400 to help underwrite the 2012 Presidential Campaign of Obama (after the jump):

Keep Joe unchained – “A Vice President we can COUNT ON”

Sometimes, you even have to laugh at political ads.  This one, by American Crossroads, simply nails it on Joe “Gaffe-a-matic” Biden’s comment of “Put y’all back in chains” at an event with a large number of African-Americans:

Listening to his campaign rhetoric, methinks Obama can go much lower

Community Organizers of the Saul Alinsky mold HAVE to have someone to demonize and to call “The Other” that is “taking away something” or “Keeping you away from something” – they are only successful when they can anger folks against somebody else.  And by this amusing little cartoon, we can see that Obama has been … Read more

When the Left starts “Memory Holing” pictures and stories, you’re on the Right track!

Mike Kruglik - Obama in the White HouseThe ‘Grok is doing its part on exposing what has been run on a semi-stealth process here in NH – the Federal Government’s implementation of President Obama’s promise made just before his inauguration: “We are five days from fundamentally transforming the United States”.

As Tom’s post / series thus far has been pointing out (Part 1, Part 2), there appears to be an effort by HUD / EPA / DOT to subvert local control and local zoning for environmental and “sustainable” reasons only.   But the real story is not just subverting local control with Federal control of the Environment.
