While Doris Hinks was after one thing that the Councilors had lost $78,000 at the Community Center, a lot of other folks were after them for spending a lot less money ($9,400) but on a much higher profile event – President Obama’s campaign stop in Rochester where the City Council just said “no big deal – let’s spend the money” without going, seemingly, through the normal and formal process. I don’t live there (or near there) but the impression I get is that it is very much a Democrat type town.
