Transparency

“I now know what the democrats really meant when they promised to create ‘more transparency in government.’ After just a few months in complete control…we were able to see right through them. “

Jilted RINO Seeks Revenge

Longtime RINO and progressive sympathizer Cynthia Dokmo lost her primary.  She didn’t take it well.  Now she is pulling a Murkowski–sort of–waging a write in campaign to undo the injustice thrust upon her by primary voters. Certainly it must have been a mistake.  In all of her district there has to be one or two … Read more

Abusive Union supporting John Lynch

Warning-SEIU Supports John LynchRyan Williams (GOP Spokesperson) just pulled a Kathy Sullivan.  He’s filed a complaint with the AG over an out of state Ad attacking John Stephen.  The democrats of course think this is hypocritical, you know, to act just like they do.  And maybe it is.  Or maybe Kathy is afraid Ryan will get an  overflowing complaint drawer at the AG’s office just like hers.

Speaking personally my "interest" in out of state interests turns entirely on the lefts obsession with pretending they don’t use them or get money from them, and who they are really funded by.  That’s the real hypocrisy.  So maybe Ryan Williams is just making a point?

But is it the right point to make?

What’s the real issue with that Ad?

Today’s Letter: Are Tea Partiers Extremists?

To the Editor:

Some media and political pundits describe Tea Partiers as  “extremists” and “out of the mainstream”.  Tea Partiers want smaller, fiscally responsible government operating within the US Constitution, the rule of law not men, and greater economic freedom.  Does that sound extreme to you?  It shouldn’t, many republicans and democrats promise these things when campaigning.  Which Tea Party views are so different from yours?

Both Republicans and Democrats have failed to keep their promises to the American people.  Both over promised, overspent, and extended government services without ensuring adequate funding.  Neither party has the courage to eliminate failing and  counter-productive programs.  These irresponsible actions created debt (for current expenses not investments) equal to three times our annual budget, and growing.  This puts our country on a collision course with bankruptcy and a dramatic loss in Americans’ standard of living.

Ok, Like, This Is Me On The defict, Eh.

In twenty months the democrats have added $3,039,049,594,342.88 dollar deficit. (That’s trillions). That’s more debt than the entire history of America from its founding to 1990.

“Let’s Deface a Carol-Shea Porter Sign!” Contest

The Carol-Shea Porter campaign is not-surprisingly hypocritical. They use a video frame from a GraniteGrok YouTube video in one of their anti-Guinta commercials, and refuse to give credit – effectively stealing our material. Yet, when a citizen uses one of her signs, which he obtained legally, to protest her Progressive, destructive record in Congress, they call the police to make him take it down; pathetic. So in honor of the man, and in the style of “Draw Mohammed Day”, we are sponsoring a “Let’s Deface a Carol-Shea Porter Sign!” contest. Send us your entry to IAmAnExtremist@GraniteGrok.com

Gov. Lynch and the NH Democrats Balance the Budget!

Great! Except IT’S A LIE. Here’s how they "did it." The following is from Republican State House Rep. Bob Rowe:

New Hampshire has a two year budget, not one year, and one side is talking about the first year of the budget and the other about the total two year budget. Yes, the Governor and Legislature balanced the first year budget ending June 31st, and yes, the State will be seriously in the hole at the end of the second year on June 31, 2011; by about 14 to 19%.  We will be starting the next budget on July 1, 2011 with a $600 to $800 million revenue shortfall. We did balance the first year budget, but at the expense of the second year and later years. Here are some, not all, of the methods used to break even or have a surplus at the end of the first year:

Beware Misleading Jobs Numbers

If New Hampshire only had one person in their workforce, and they had a job, unemployment would be at 0%.  Keep that in mind as John Lynch and the democrats short-stroke the September adjusted jobs number around as a sign that they are good for the economy.  They are not.

The unemployment number is merely a reflection of how many people are actually in the workforce, versus how many of that number are working.  You could manage to create no jobs at all and have unemployment go down simply because the number of people looking kept getting smaller every month.

Well that what’s been happening in the Granite State, so take the news in this mornings paper of a recent decrease in the unemployment percentage with a shaker of salt.  John Lynch will want to spin this as John’s economic recovery stage show, but how do you sell that when people are leaving the theater in droves?  You don’t tell anyone they are leaving.

Carol Shea-Porter Isn’t In The Middle Class

Shea-Porter is RichCarol Shea-Porter is earning over 170,000.00 dollars per year as a member of the US House.  (That’s $120,000.00 more per year than the national average for the rest of us.) Her husband, whose income remains a mystery–perfectly legal as I understand it–has an extensive military background (for which he deserves our thanks) and appears to be employed by the government as well.  So it is safe to say that he’s making good money. In fact, odds are good he is making twice as much as his private sector counterpart.

Is he making $80,000.00 per year or more?  I bet he is.  And if he is, by the left wings definition, the Shea-Porters are rich, and therefore not eligible for the distinction of "being part of the middle class."  And until such time as we know for certain, it is safe to assume that every time someone in the Shea-Porter campaign claims she is just part of the middle class, including Carol, they are lying to you.

Conservative Resonation…Progressive Resignation

phone%20ringing.jpg

Two key points of interest came up in polling over the past week…

[#1] "Voters more likely to see Democrats as dominated by extremists"

Did you hear that Marjorie Smith and Mary Jane WallnerDid you?

According to The Hill’s 2010 Midterm Election Poll, "likely voters in battleground districts see extremists as having more dominant influence over the Democrat Party than they do over the GOP."  I can’t say that I’m surprised but it’s gratifying to see evidence of what you instinctively knew all along.

The difference in this is 7 points: 44% Democrat, 37% Republican.  The poll, having a 1.5% MOE, was of likely voters; not from any particular party, not just independents, and not random people, but 4,047 likely voters, living in key-race districts.

The icing on this cake is the fact that 22% of Democrats in the poll said that their party was dominated by "extremists", compared to 11% of Republicans answering the same question….how ’bout that, ladies? (using the term very loosely)

The candy on top of the icing is what Independents said: 43% of likely independent voters thought that the Democrat party was more dominated by "extremists", compared to 37% who felt the same way about the Republican party.

Oh boy!  Democrats had better get the burn cream and bandages out, and ready to apply in 14 days.

[#2] "Independents prefer cutting the deficit to spending on jobs"

Nancy Shea-Pelosi On….Honestly I have No Idea What This Woman Is On

Just because it makes no sense:  The Speaker of the US House explains how unemployment creates jobs.  This is the kind of stupid thinking that Carol Shea-Porter Supports.  And After the ‘Every Dollar of Food Stamps nets $1.78 worth of economy” comment, this has to be one of my favorite dingbat, left-wingisms. Hint: The democrat’s … Read more

Hmmm, this fits the Progressive Democrats!

From Doug over at RightWingNews – A Declaration, not of Independence, but of Dependence:

IN WASHINGTON DC, JANUARY 20, 2009
The unanimous Declaration of the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives, the Senate, and the Executive Branch
hen in the course of political expediency it becomes necessary for one party to ignore its country’s Constitution and legal system which hath guided it for 233 years, Gaia and Generation Investment Management require that it declare the causes which impel them to high treason.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all workers can be divided into races, income levels, religions, genders, and so on, to advance Statism; that they possess certain unalienable rights, that among these are health care, food stamps, iPhones, MTV, and a three-bedroom condo within walking distance of a Starbucks —

That to redistribute these rights, Governments are seized by politicians, deriving their powers by the theft of private property and the confiscation of liberty —

That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of centralized, authoritarian Government, it is the Right of the Democrats to ignore the Constitution or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on the teachings of Marx, of Engels, of Alinsky, of Cloward and of Piven.

Prudence, indeed, would reject our claim to change government for light and transient causes, seeing as how we must reject facts, logic, history and reason to advance our tyrannical measures. Indeed, we rely upon our experience that hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer so long as government cheese and Jersey Shore are freely available to anyone who asks, whether citizen or not.

And when some object, after a long train of abuses and usurpations by we, the callous, unheeding Democrat leadership, it is our right, and it is our duty, to play the race card, to tar them as ‘extremists’ and ‘crackpots’, to use the media to ridicule them, and to create a "Civilian National Security Force" to ensure their ultimate destruction.

Such has been our suffering abuse of these Tea Parties; and such is now the necessity which commands us to eradicate their former Systems of Government. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a receptive media.

– He has refused to allow the vaporization of our Laws including the Constitution, which is no more useful to Democrats than a piece of toilet paper and which, may in fact, be emblematic of witchcraft.

– He has expressed feigned outrage over so-called ‘lawlessness’ by our Department of Justice, which has offered reparations to the New Black Panthers, illegal immigrants, and other workers deserving special treatment.

– He has refused to accept…
