The left is so unhinged about the nomination of (XX) that the progressive monkeys are “digging deep” for any bit of poo to throw. This has ignited the Twitterverse with a new hashtag. #BrettKavanaughScadals.
As you might expect, the denizens of said ‘verse’ are having a blast owning that hashtag to make fun of the left.
Carrie Severino’s got her top ten posted at National Review. I searched the hashtag and here are mine (so far), some of which are the same, and in no particular order.
No, I wasn’t on the roster of speakers but I decided to try anyways – and Keith Hanson of WNTK, the MC for the CNHT Annual Taxpayer Picnic, allowed me a few moments. As I pointed out here, I’ve been making this offer for a while:

Recently I was asked why I was running for NH State Representative. The easy answer would be that I was corralled into it. Really, there was an open seat as one of the reps was not running for re-election so I had an opportunity to “put my money where my mouth was”, so to speak.
One of the main reasons that my wife and I moved to New Hampshire was the lower level of government intrusion into people’s lives. My overall view is supporting free-markets and individual liberty. I believe that when people have the freedom to engage in capitalism, the free market can solve many problems that arise. I also believe people should be able to run their own lives, as long as they don’t interfere with the rights of others.
Proponents of government programs and projects usually proclaim that given problems will be solved. “Leave it to us” actually seems to mean “you can’t handle it yourselves”. More insidiously, the actions (or inactions) of bureaucracies that are put in place to run the program often can’t reach the goals that were set.
Ed Nail has been all over this, naturally but I just finished reading the decision so while you should read all of Ed’s remarks I want to try to use the court’s judgment to clarify what just happened when Governor Sununu signed HB1264 into law.
An excerpt from the State Supreme Court’s decision will help us along here.

Net Neutrality was barely old enough to know when it burped up on itself when Mr. Trump’s FCC pulled the plug. Like most things, Democrats tried to delete the history of the internet prior to 2015 or at least rewrite it. Without Net Neutrality which we’d had for but a sliver (as we know it) of the internet entire existence the sky would fall.

I see two of the New Hampshire State Supreme Court have almost put an end to our policy of letting out-of-state, unqualified voters determine our Federal elections.
The two others, Gary Hicks and Jimmy Bassett, should be removed from office for lack of enough common sense to be on any court.
The majority found that out-of-state “voters” are not just prohibited from serving on a jury, registering a car or dog, or getting a hunting/fishing license. They can’t use New Hampshire as a fun place to vote either. This decision took twenty years.
Democrats are not progressive. They like old stuff. Trains to move people. Governments based on an unimpeachable ruling class. And Supreme Court decisions that even bioethicist and infanticide fetishist Peter Singer would like to see scrapped like Roe v. Wade.
Steve alluded to it here and I DID have the intention of putting up the thread but, well, with the start of putting in new technology, things rolled off my “table” as it were. It was all about Gov. Sununu doing the right thing and denying wood electrical generational plants a subsidy. No, not one that would have come directly from the State of NH but one in which the State would force us all to give our own personal money to them via higher electrical costs. The fact that the House and the Senate, and the Republicans therein, decided “This Is A Great Idea!” is awful, given the NH GOP Platform:
The media is committed to selling the story that the Republicans are divided when, in fact, it is the Democrat Party that is in the throes of a full-blown civil war. The first “public” signs of wide-spread division showed themselves when Bernie Sanders challenged The Clinton Machine.
The threat that Bernie could rob Hillary of another nomination was so real that the DNC, CNN, and others fixed the primaries. The media ignored the scandals (not just because they were complicit) and the outrage, as well as a rift that kept getting bigger. And then Hillary Lost.
A loss that institutionalized open hatred and derision for anyone (including registered Democrats) who was not at progressive outrage level 11 all day and every day.
Note: After 2 1/2 years, I am finally getting back “on the circuit” and getting to events. When I do so, I have been offering to candidates that have been vetted to send me a quick blurb on who they are, what they are running for, and WHY they are running. We at GraniteGrok have a decent sized voice here in NH – why not use it for the betterment of like minded folks? So, Becky sent this so I’m keeping a promise made and putting it up

You probably didn’t know this but in an offline thread Skip and Jim Rubens traded debate ‘punches’ on Mr. Sununu’s veto of Biomass subsidies. We have opposed the plunder. Mr. Rubens considered the Biomass bailout to be worthwhile.
In an email, via Jim Rubens.com, Jim gives a nod to that debate and perhaps others and then defends his support to override Governor Sununu’s veto.
