Facebook Doodling – more blithering from Andy Martin, the most experienced…

More blithering from Andy Martin who is running as a Republican in NH’s First Congressional District.  He generally thinks he’s a big deal in the races he enters but generally ends up, in real life and in the real results, as a zero.  But he’s well known by the inside-politics people and pretty much, everyone knows he’s gonna sue somebody at sometime for something.  Let’s look at this first:

Democrat Opponent Asks Sullivan for Proof of Combat Experience

DemorrhoidsMaura Sullivan’s not from around here, but she’s getting used to being treated like she is. These pages have no shortage of commentary on her political relocation “therapy.” From her “gun-violence” narratives to how she holds a firearm in her commercial that is neither from the War in Iraq or anywhere in New Hampshire. The latter being where she was planted by the DNC to steal a congressional seat. The former a point of political posturing that is also under attack.

From Kevin Landrigan’s Granite Status.

Democratic congressional candidate Terence O’Rourke of Alton is calling on fellow veteran and primary rival Maura Sullivan of Portsmouth to prove she’s a combat veteran.

Republican Primaries are Coming…

polling, pencil, checkboxThe 603 Alliance released the results of an online straw poll yesterday and overall New Hampshire’s Establishment Republicans took a beating.

Before I examine the results individually, please understand that the voting was done via email using a unique password access for each email address in the distribution list. The participants are individuals who signed up to receive email alerts and information from the 603 Alliance before the release of the poll. There was no public announcement that we planned a straw poll, so no individual knew in advance.

Classified Document “Leaker” Goes to Jail – First of Many?

Handcuffed SuspectA Democrat with a high-level security clearance is going to prison for leaking classified information to the press.

Former National Security Agency contractor Reality Winner on Thursday was sentenced to more than five years in prison after pleading guilty to leaking a classified report with information on Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election.

An observation and then a question.

The Climate “Theocracy” Consensus in Portsmouth, NH

Al_Gore_Fire bannerThe sort of folks who rant about the coming right-wing theocracy break ideological bread with the fundamentalist-environmental movement which gets us right to the point. The Portsmouth City Council is aflutter over a “climate conference” at which, to their surprise, Bjorn Lomborg would be a participant.

Lomborg believes in Global warming, the man-made sort, but not enough. He’s something of a heretic to the faith depending on whom on the Portsmouth City Council you ask.

Humans Are Stupid – Just ask a Legislator

Humans are stupid. Just ask a legislator. The more progressive the legislator, the dumber you are. We know this to be true because of the things they try to legislate. That would be “every” thing. You are simply not bright enough to manage much if anything without their aid or influence.

Ironically, the cure for this human stupidity is to convince a majority of the aforementioned dolts to elect you to a public office. The more progressive the legislator the smarter and more sophisticated your transformation.

Kuster NOH8

Every Tyranny Works This Way, Ours Will Be No Different

Remember the left’s dopey NOH8 campaign? Celebrities, Progressive thought Leaders, dopey politicians, and sheeple lined up to get their picture taken with the “NOH8” narrative logo? People who ignore, excuse, or justify the violence that would amount to a hate crime when perpetrated on people with whom they disagree. To them, premeditated violence (any violence, actually) is acceptable against people whose … Read more

Israel Rolls Back Restrictions To Arm as Many As a Half-Million More Citizens

Israel is opening up its carry-permit rules so it can arm more law-abiding civilians. “Many civilians saved lives during terror attacks in an era of ‘lone terrorism,’ Erdan said in a statement. “The more skilled civilians carrying weapons, the greater the chance of thwarting attacks without casualties and reducing the number of casualties.” In the … Read more

Why I Support Jane Cormier for Executive Council District 4

Jane at Rileys Colt EventJane Cormier strongly supports our State and U.S. Constitutions.  Her service as State Rep. earned the highest scores from many independent conservative organizations due to unwavering support for family values, property rights, smaller government, individual liberty, lower taxes, and Second Amendment Rights.

Jane is strong, principled, and independent.  Her moral values and belief in God always lead Jane to do the right things for the right reasons.  She is incorruptible.

New Hampshire is the 2nd Most Free State In America

NH Number 2 CATO Freedom IndexFor only the sixth time since 2000 CATO has ranked New Hampshire as the second Most Free State in the US. We were number one all the other times. Unfortunately, this is the third year in a row at number two, and while CATO examines that there is still plenty of good news (not that being #2 isn’t good news).

We have some work to do to get back to number one. But before we get to that let’s talk about this

Maura Sullivan – carpetbagging from Illinois, using props from Massachusetts, to run a race in NH by being anti-gun

Democrat Socialist Maura Sullivan is running to be the Democrat nominee for NH CD-1.  She flew in from DC after growing up in Illinois; even NH Democrats are upset about having their own mini-Me-Hillary-style carpetbagger.  Many folks are writing about her latest ad and so are we (here and here).

The point of this point is to point out the “weapon” that Sullivan wants you to believe is an actual “weapon of war” that she used in Iraq (while serving in a Supply/Logistics role). EXACTLY like what she had in Iraq. Nonsense on a stick.

The Powers That Be Will Do All They Can to Support “Business as Usual”

While many are waxing poetic on the “blue wave” which is supposed to manifest this election cycle, I am actually optimistic this will not be the case. We all know The Powers That Be will do all they can to support “business as usual” in the political realm, but regular folks are getting mighty tired of that old song.

The race in Executive Council District 4 is potentially the most important seat in New Hampshire politics. Why would I say this?  Because this single seat will determine whether we have “business as usual” or a change in the Progressive trajectory within the Executive Council in Concord.

I hear October is a Great Month for “Surprises.”

Elizabeth Vaughn at Freedom Outpost has a piece on the attrition at the FBI and DOJ (since the Trump investigation began), which is interesting but what caught my eye was this. She shares part of a conversation between Mark Levin and Sean Hannity in which Levin clears the decks on the question of certain security clearances and the President that handed them out. Obama.

Meanwhile — meanwhile! When these people had security clearances, what the hell did they do with them? Well, let’s take a look. The Russians interfered in our election, right? Well, who was president, who was head of the CIA, who was national security advisor, who was the head of the FBI?

On February 26th, 2018 the town of Mason, New Hampshire invited State Senator Kevin Avard to participate in their 250th anniversary. The attached invitation, signed by Martha Ward, for the Town of Mason, indicates the event will be held on August 25th, 2018.

Representative, or Role Model?

As the discussion over Andy Sanborn’s Q Score heats up, I can’t help being reminded of Pete Rose, who — despite his singular accomplishments as a player — remains ineligible for the Baseball Hall of Fame.

To paraphrase former major league outfielder Jim Dwyer:  The Hall of Fame is for baseball players.  Heaven is for good guys.

If your goal is to win a game, or a series, or a title, who do you want on your team?  The handsome, well-spoken guy with nice manners?  Or the crass, hard-charging guy with the skills and the drive to get the job done?

Judy Aron – Candidate, NH House: Sullivan County District 7

by Judy Aron

When State government overtaxes, overspends and overregulates it causes great damage to families, communities, and businesses. That has happened in other states, especially in New England, and I don’t want to see that happen here in New Hampshire.  Our citizens deserve better!  I will work hard to protect our Constitutional rights and for Granite Staters to keep more of their hard earned money! The three most important issues I believe are Taxes, 2nd Amendment Rights and Quality of Life. Our pursuit of liberty and our “Live Free or Die” attitudes are what make our State really remarkable and contribute to our ranking as one of the best places to live.
