The government should get out of the way of people making their own risk assessments and proceeding accordingly. Equal misery should not be the norm or the lowest common denominator.

ReOpenNH Concord Rally – Interview with the Group of Four
That would be four current or former NH State House Representatives. To a person, they too are unhappy with how Government is treating its citizens even as the current data is saying that its actions are too far. Yes, it was loud and a couple of these folks are, well, softspoken. The horns going by … Read more
NH Governor Sununu – Official response to the ReOpenNH petition to let us decide for ourselves:
“New Hampshire’s success at social distancing and mitigation efforts has led some to believe that COVID19 is no longer a serious threat, but we are unfortunately in the middle of a worldwide pandemic and only six weeks in,” Sununu said in a statement. “I would like to urge Granite Staters
Notable Quote – a warning to the NH GOFFER Commission
…which has been tasked on “restarting” the NH economy by “planning” how to “reopen” our economy. George Will: Markets produce many things secondarily, from shoes to trucks to novels, but primarily they produce information, in torrents that no government is intelligent enough to comprehend or nimble enough to respond to. Sure, Government can infringe, hinder, … Read more
ReOpenNH Concord Rally – MicroInterview with Peter Torosian
While I was Just trying to get an early shot of how many people had assembled. Having gotten up a bit higher than the sidewalk, I started to record what was going on. This gentleman then came up to me (who I did not know) and started talking. Turns out, he was NH State Rep … Read more
ReOpenNH Concord Rally – MicroInterview with Ed Naile
Ed Naile is the Chair of the Coalition of NH Taxpayers (CNHT) and has been around a LONG time helping out watchdogs and whistleblower type citizens and helping them to correct what they believe to be municipal malfeasance. Here he’s got a nice little story to tell: Please subscribe to our Youtube Channel – either … Read more
So Mindi Messmer, running for Exec Council, is trying to be the East German Stasi of NH? Being the “Mask Police”?
She really would fit in when Germany was split into West and East Germany during the Cold War. The East German police were known for being cruel, sadistic, and turning their fellow citizens into snitches against each other (standard fare for Communist countries). Imagine that – making citizens fearful of their fellow citizens for having … Read more
ReOpenNH Concord Rally – MicroInterview with Mark Warden
The best expression of the sentiment that was on the minds of all of the attendees of last Saturday’s EReOpenNH was this:
ReOpenNH Concord Rally MicroInterview with Ruth
Soon after I had talked with Anne Copp, I ran into Ruth and asked if she had time for a quick interview: She not only is ticked that she has to protest to get her Rights back but that the Media has been lying to us (hey, Media, you listenin’?). And she, too, is worried … Read more
ReOpenNH Concord Rally – MicroIntervew with Keith Ammon
No, he’s not Jason Osborne….sigh…it was Keith. Yep, what a way to start an interview – just MANGLE the opening due to my inability to get peoples’ names straight.
ReOpenNH Concord Rally MicroInterview with a family of Small Business Owners
At the Reopen NH Rally in Concord I spoke with some small business owners who, having been deemed to be “non-essential” by Governor Sununu, are not only losing money but are on that cusp of losing it all.
ReOpenNH Concord Rally MicroInterview with Anne Copp
I forgot to mention in my earlier post that not only those valuing Freedom over “Health & Security” were showing up at the rally but the State Police showed up as well.
Breaking: Judge rules that Gov. Sununu, not the Legislature, has authority to spend COVID19 Fed money
I’m betting that the Democrat majority on the Legislature Fiscal Committee are mad as hornets given that this gift of our money by the Feds to NH is not going to be handed out to their special interest groups as easily as they first thought. Sununu did include most of those same politicians. However, he keeps control.
ReOpenNH Concord Rally – Groksters Assemble
OK, a bit later than Steve’s posts but hey, life happens in between “stuff.” Anyways, a few videos coming up.
ReOpenNH – Before the Rally and sometime during the middle: Govt signs
Heh! I was not surprised when I got to the State House just a tad before 11am (the Rally has been advertised to start around noon); no one was there. It was clear, however, that the Government agencies could read and monitor social media as well as anyone else and had prepared a welcome sign … Read more
Van: “Skip makes Breitbart!!!”
That was from commenter Van on Steve’s post that was headlined “300+ Attend #ReOpenNH Rally In Concord (Lots of Pictures)”. Indeed, my comments from an interview with Catherine Triomphe of AFP (Agence France-Presse, the French news wire service similar to AP and UPI here in the US, and not Americans for Prosperity) did make to … Read more
So which is REALLY more important: Can’t feed my family OR climate change?
Steve put up his post about that the Eco-Socialists narratives being an existential threat getting crowded out by the current (and immediate) “existential threat.”
Notable Quote – Veronique de Rugy
The large number of rules lifted by federal, state and local governments in response to this pandemic reveals the sad reality that many regulations serve little to no good public purpose. Hopefully, people will realize how counterproductive these rules were and will not allow them to be reinstated after the crisis is over. In the … Read more
Notable Quote – Sara Hoyt
THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT YOUR MOTHER. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT YOUR FATHER. THEY CAN NEITHER SEND YOU TO YOUR ROOM HOUSE, NOR SHOULD THEY GIVE YOU AN ALLOWANCE. AND IT’S CERTAINLY NOT THEIR JOB TO PROTECT YOU FROM DISEASE. WASH YOUR HANDS. IF YOU’RE VULNERABLE WATCH YOUR INTERACTIONS. AND FOR THE LOVE OF BOB, GROW UP: … Read more
It must be comforting, being Governors who can ignore the US Constitution
It bears repeating: The Constitution was meant to restrict GOVERNMENT and not Individuals. Progressives, however, have inverted that:
