Kevin Landrigan of the Union Leader is blowing it out his other pie-hole – The Demand

“He’s got Rand Paul, the federal Gun Owners of America, and leader of GraniteGrok on his side.

Well, of course I wasn’t going to let this go by the boards.  Nor am I the type to be silent.  So you do know what I did, right? Of course you do: I sent an email to both Kevin Landrigan and Trent Spiner (the Executive Editor of the Union Leader) (emphasis mine):

“He’s got Rand Paul, the federal Gun Owners of America, and leader of GraniteGrok on his side.

Kevin Landrigan, you nor anyone else from the Union Leader, ever contacted me for this deliberatively false statement. I hereby demand a retraction from you and the Union leader both as a separate post on your front page as well as a retraction within the article itself.

Kevin Landrigan of the Union Leader is blowing it out his other pie-hole

Update: I just left a scathing vmail for the UL head honcho and Publisher, Joe McQuaid demanding retractions on the UL front page, within Landrigan’s article, and in their print edition.  Let’s see what happens.
Update 2: From Trent Spiner, Exec. Editor, UL @ 1:36pm (my email was at 9:26am) – “…we certainly understand you have not endorsed this cycle and I appreciate you bringing the issue to my attention. We will be issuing a correction shortly”.  I’m still waiting for it…

I want a retraction from Landrigan and the UL and will be demanding such.

Question: GraniteGrok Meetups – Poll results

GrokSignal

Ok, ok – I’m a bit late with the results so here they are!  I asked four questions about doing GraniteGrok meetup where we Groksters would set some times up to physically meet with our readers:

  • When should they be held?
  • Chaos/ad hoc or slightly structured / agenda’d?
  • Location, Location, Location: where to have them?
  • Wallet time: would folks be ok with a cover price to meet expenses?

Hey, we’d do these for you – you OUGHT to have a say in these, right?  Well, here’s the answers you gave so let me tell you what we’ll do!

“How are you responding to the pressures of life?”

This past Sunday, Pastor Brian Green had an apt object lesson in his sermon – I thought I’d share this all with you. “…by being in the water, they changed the water.” The full sermon, for context, is here.

RRftSotRP – I get stuff. Third lesson: “I won’t participate with Republicans…”

NH GOP Republican State CommitteeToday is going to be a very busy day, so just a quick continuing thought on the missive I received that was ‘preached’ at a still fairly recent GOP meeting.  The author, I remind you, admonished the assembled crowd that they were “not allowed” to audio or video record their speech……then left handouts of the talking points on a table.

This is how I and the other Groksters end up getting stuff because stupenagels still believe that when you ask, secrets are kept.  Yeah, especially in this Internet age. And when you leave stuff openly on a table.

RRftSotRP Missive - back - 600 Part 2

To the first part: let’s make this real easy and get to the root cause.  It is not because people don’t support Trump, do support Trump; it does, however, all come back to this basic fact:

Winning is only a precursor; what you do afterwards is more important

CNHT Taxpayer Family Reunion Picnic – Kimberly Morin

The Fiahcrakah (that’s Firecracker to you Flatlanders) – Kimberly is a lady that is never still or quiet.  Proprietor of NH Political Buzz, she also writes for us here at GraniteGrok and is the current President of the Womens’ Defense League of NH (“WDLNH”).  She is never a lady without a few bon (as well as mal) mots floating on her lips nor from her keyboard.  She is “on” all the time and served as the last speaker of the day at the CNHT Annual Picnic (aka “Old Home Day for Conservatives”) and you will enjoy her talk!

CNHT Taxpayer Family Reunion Picnic – Ed Naile, Chair of CNHT

Ed is the Chair of the Coalition of NH Taxpayers who puts on the Annual Picnic (aka, “Old Home Day for Conservatives). For decades, he and CNHT have been champions for taxpayer issues be they local (e.g., fighting the “good ole’ boys” networks in small NH towns, or local school boards / municipal committees that have gone off the “RSA reservation”, or local politicians seeking to enrich themselves as taxpayers expense) or state-wide (the foremost expert of voter fraud in NH).  In fact, that’s how he led off

After the jump are the other videos, especially about Keith Hanson and The Winslows (and what the town they live in is doing to them illegally):

NH GOP – just GIVING money to the opposition. Again. Once again, the phrase “The Stupid Party”…

motorcycle circle of death…is running circles in my head like the above motorcycle of death circle.  WHY is the NH GOP so self-defeating?  Do they not even care about what the “campaign battlespace” looks like?  Wasn’t NH GOP Committeeman Steve Duprey (owner of five hotels in Concord) willing to step in to host such an event (er,  skuttlebutt is that he doesn’t cut much of a deal for hosting things like this, especially for allied conservative groups.  Then again, he gives money to Planned Parenthood, supports other Democrat issues; and we’re back to “The Stupid Party” again in electing people that don’t care much for what the NH GOP Platform says it stands for but I digress.  Again.):

“I’m so angry that he put us in this situation. I’m in no mood to help him right now.”

Chris SununuThat from an ally over NH Gov. Chris Sununu signing HB1319, the latest Bathroom Bill (aka “today I feel like a women even without the lady bits so I’m going into the ladies room”) and HB587 (gotta let gays be gays and no talking them out of it) which is a sop to the gay lobby and is an affront to both the First Amendment and NH’s Constitution in the matter of denying free speech and free conscious. I wrote this at the time:

So Governor Chris Sununu just told his Conservative and Faith-Based base to buzz off. You just told those that brung you to the dance that you’re in love with another. OK, buzz off we shall – like a buzzsaw. You asked we’ll deliver.

So how do I tell him and NH State Rep Mindi Messmer apart, who is running for US Congress with pretty much the same message

A Presidential Pardon for Jerry Delemus

Cross-posted from Stella’s Place

DeLemus

Our friend, TheOriginalG-d&Country, sent the following post to me via email, and asked if I would share it with all of you. It is OG&C’s desire that it also be posted at The Conservative Treehouse (Last Refuge), and I will see if that can be done as well, though that decision will not be mine.

A Presidential Pardon for Jerry Delemus

OG&C has been researching the case of Jerry Delemus, and his involvement with the Bundy Ranch stand-off, which occurred in 2014. Here is the report resulting from this research.

Question: GraniteGrok Meetups

BUMPED from July 14th: Reminder, the poll closes on Saturday!

GrokSignal

As we try to ramp GraniteGrok to the next level, one of the things being contemplated is doing Meetups – instead of you coming here, we Groksters would come out and meet with you folks.  Purpose?  Just to yak, talk, converse – you know, share a bit of fellowship.  So, I’d like to find out IF our loyal readers think this might be a good idea, and if it might be, where should they be held and how often?  Completely ad hoc or with a bit of an agenda?  Just yak, or as Steve said, perhaps have a “GrokThink!” component (yes, I will keep you in suspense).  As always, I read all the comments.  But I do want to do a couple of polls after the jump (if I can figure this thingy out as I’ve never used the plugin that Steve has been using lately) so each poll might get adjusted as I correct mistakes.

OK, first question: how often?

2018 Campaign Race: CD-1 – Bruce Crochetiere drops out

BCrochetiereAccording to WMUR, he had put in a quarter of a million into his campaign that started three months ago.  I’ve had the chance to talk with him and was looking forward to doing an in-depth interview.  His announcement:

“After careful consideration and speaking with my family and campaign team, I have decided to suspend my campaign for Congress, effective immediately. While I know that we are in a strong financial and political position looking ahead to the final two months of the primary, recent developments with both my family and business have caused me to arrive at this difficult – but appropriate – decision.

“I announced my candidacy for Congress on May 1 because I have been so very blessed in my life, giving me a strong desire to serve and give back to the communities and people who have been so good to me.

Data Point – the most dangerous cities in the US are Democrat run

According to the Major Cities Chiefs Association Violent Crimes Survey, 6,791 people were murdered in America’s urban areas in 2017. While that was down 252 deaths from 2016, that’s still an ugly number. And when we break down the top 20 cities at the top of the list, a few illuminating (although not-so-surprising) facts emerge: 90% of the … Read more

Deep State: “It’s like they think the law doesn’t apply to them.”

Deep StateGlenn Reynolds, proprietor at Instapundit, built his reputation, influence, and ranking as a news aggregator in doing zillions of links with just a sentence or two describing what it’s for or commenting on the content at the link.  Seldom, VERY seldom, does he do a looong abstract from the piece he’s linking to.  Given the length of what he did quote, it’s important and I’m reproducing it here: The Dishonesty Of The Deep State:

I’ve seen President Clinton deny he had a relationship with “that woman, Miss Lewinsky.” I’ve seen President Obama assure people they will get to keep their doctor under ObamaCare. And I’ve seen former press secretary Sean Spicer declare that President Trump’s inaugural crowd was larger than Obama’s.

But these falsehoods pale in comparison to the performances of a series of “deep state” witnesses who have combined chutzpah with balderdash, culminating so far in the testimony of FBI agent Peter Strzok.

Let’s review just some of the highlights.
