We were able to ignite a small local protest, which resulted in the protestors being banned from entering the Conway Public Library in Conway, NH, where the event was being held.
After watching the various townsfolk berate Select Board member Lannie Collins for speaking in opposition to fellow board member Ally Tufinkjian’s praising the Drag Queen Story Hour that was attempted to be held in downtown White River Junction, it was incumbent upon me to defend Mr. Collins.

Steve has been doing yeoman’s work on this story (here, here, here, here, here, and here) that so much of the history is now known. Then I got a call from one of the residents asking if I could show up for the morning Drag Queen reading / poke-in-the-eyes show at the Conway Public Library.
We are looking for great people to come and fill up all the seats, be on the grounds, praying, etc., during these scheduled Drag Queen Story Hour events. Outside, we can observe who from the community is actually present.

The Conway Public Library Board of Trustees has a meeting tonight. It’s at 15 Greenwood Ave in the Library Meeting Room beginning at 5 pm. If you have concerns or comments about the upcoming Drag Queen Storytime event, this would be the opportunity to voice them.
