The Greatest Evil in the World

The greatest evils in the world will not be carried out by men with guns, but by men in suits sitting behind desks. —C. S. Lewis. One of those evils, plotted by siting suits, is the  SAVE Act introduced by Rep. Chip Roy of TX,  H.R. 8281, that passed the House on July 10th.  Following … Read more

Night Cap: Voter ID For ME Is Half Way Home

Voter ID for ME is a petition initiative driven by The Dinner Table to get the Voter ID question on the ballot so the people of Maine can decide the fate of requiring an ID to cast your vote in The Pine Tree State. On June 11, over 350 volunteers manned the voting locations across the state to gather signatures on the petition and had an amazing, successful day.

Voter ID For ME & The Dinner Table

Voter ID Means I’ll Cast Mine, You Cast Yours

I have had my driver’s license ready when I go to the polls to cast my vote for some time now. Longer than it has been required in New Hampshire to vote in any election. I have always believed that the opportunity to vote is one of the most significant rights afforded to citizens in America.

Chris “Biden-Boy” Sununu Says … You Should NOT Need An ID To Vote

I say SO WHAT? So what that New Hampshire’s Sun-King, Chris Sununu (a/k/a Biden-boy), does NOT support voter ID. So what if that means scores of illegal aliens and non-residents will be able to vote in New Hampshire in November? What’s that you say?

Let’s Look at the Election Process

I am not an election denier, but I am an election cynic. The events of this past week should be embarrassing to all Americans. But the fact it does not seem to concern the Left might be because it is their design.

Poll: 99% Say We Need to Require Photo ID to Vote

In this weekend’s unscientific Grok Poll, we asked this question. Should NH require a Photo ID to Vote? The response to this question was overwhelming. We could even call it a consensus.

Poll: Should NH Require a Photo ID to Vote? [Vote Now, Poll Ends at Midnight]

This seems like a no-brainer of a poll question for this audience, but it seems like a good idea. SB3 was recently thrown out (for good and bad), while states nationwide are wrestling with ensuring election integrity. ID is an important part of the puzzle.

Nashua: ID Is Needed to Reactivate My Library Card, but Not to Vote?

Last week I went into the Nashua library to see some reference material. I walked in free-faced and was not given a hard time though they have a doorman at a desk with a box of single-use masks and a hand sanitizer pump. Of course, there was plexiglass everywhere.

Williams – Sonoma: the Dick’s Sporting Goods of the kitchen set?

Updated & Bumped: This is when you get caught being stupid.  From CNSNews:

Williams-Sonoma Releases Statement Apologizing for Pulling Pressure Cookers

“Pressure cookers are available at all our stores nationwide.

“In the days immediately following the tragic bombings in Boston a local decision was made to remove pressure cookers from the sales floor of the stores near where the bombing occurred. We apologize if we offended anyone by this action.”

Offended?  No, that’s not the word I would pick.  Cowardly?  Political Correctness junkies?  Just plain STOOPID in trying to put as much space as possible from even a HINT of being associated with the Boston Marathon Bombers.  I do wonder if this decision was from their Sr. Leadership (such that might exist) or from an avalanche of “dumbness” sent their way.

*************************************

Back in December, just after the tragedy of Sandy Hook, Dick’s Sporting Goods stopped selling AR-15s.  They screwed over customers and they screwed over their suppliers as they did not honor their contracts and did not honor transactions in process.  They didn’t care – their cowardly side showed over this particular style of modern sporting rifles.

But really, this??  From Big Government (emphasis mine):

Timmyz In For A Rude Awakening

“Truth never penetrates an unwilling mind.”  – J. L. Borges

Joseph M. Gallagher - No Such address - stole your vote in 2000
Joseph M. Gallagher – No Such address

Like most people who foment voter fraud, either by assisting in it or simply ignoring its existence, Rep Timothy Horrigan (D- Land of Voter Fraud) are not long for a very rude awakening.  But in advance of this tumultuous awakening, Horrigan is quoted by WMUR in defense of his bill to repeal the New Hampshire voter ID law currently in place.

Rep. Timothy Horrigan, D-Durham, argued for repeal, saying the voter ID law is “an excessive solution to a virtually nonexistent problem.” Horrigan said no evidence of voter fraud exists in the state.

Emphasis mine.

Repeal was not embraced, though the Democrats have halted any additional provisions until the AG is done lying about the existence of voter fraud, much the way every AG has for most of (at least) the last decade.

The problem is not that it does not exist, it is that either no one wants to be bothered or the fraud favors those tasked with the looking.

Nashua New Hampshire Democrat Rep. Cindy Rosenwald – Domiciles Out Of State “Stray Cats” Who Then Vote From Her Home

Nashua New Hampshire Democrat Cindy Rosenwald is back in the spotlight.  If you recall, she’s the one who admitted that her party not only knew it had left an 800 million dollar hole in the budget, but they planned to cut spending to fix it.  Well, now we find out that she knew there were out of state voters voting in New Hampshire, because at least one of them has been voting from her Nashua Address since at least 2007.

Vote From Here - At Cindy Rosenwald's House

Ed Nail at NH Insider just reported on the voting history of a professional Democrat Campaign lackey by the name of Paolo Cozzi.    Mr. Cozzi lived on Clement Street in Sommerville, Massachusetts (Update- He is now currently living in DC).  But they had more than enough Democrats living in MA, so in 2007, 2008 and 2012, Paolo Cozzi hopped on the commuter rail (hey, that’s why Liberals want rail service to Nashua), or got in his Obama-mobile–(Cozzi is employed in the service of OFA)–and put his vote to better use by claiming to live at 101 Wellington Street in Nashua, New Hampshire, the home of Democrat House Rep. Cindy Rosenwald.

So How’s that “Just Sign An Affidavit” Thing Working Out?

Voter ID required except when its not
Voter ID required except when its not

According to the Pew Research Center  5,424 voters lacking proper ID signed affidavits swearing they were New Hampshire residents eligible to vote under state law last November.

As of January 11, 2,266 of the postcards had been returned, and 211 letters were returned as undeliverable. The secretary of state’s office will look into each undeliverable letter, and if an explanation cannot be determined, a list of affidavits needing further investigation will be compiled and sent to the attorney general’s office.

I can provide at least one explanation and it’s called Voter Fraud.

All we heard from the Dems was caterwauling about “Settled Law!” Consistency is not their strong suit

All we heard from these clowns the last two years was things like don’t you DARE touch the gay marriage law – the Legislature already “settled” the issue.  How DARE you Republicans even consider revisiting that law! They adopted the mantra that once done, always done when it comes to the law.  Sure, the body politic had decided that the Democrats were the extremists and threw them out of office in 2010.  Well, as what always happens, the pendulum swings and the Dems have retaken Concord.  Will they also stand firm on their crie-du-coer of “settled” law now that they are in power again?

Hardly.  From Pravda-on-the-Merrimac (aka, the Concord Monitor that IS to the NH Dem Party as Pravda was to that other Party) just two days after the election:

Money matters aside, there’s plenty for Hassan and the new Legislature to do, and undo, next year.

The new House should start by exorcising the chamber with the abolition of the goofy but dangerous Regress of Grievances Committee. Then, with the support of the governor, the Legislature should, in short order, repeal the so-called voucher law that, contrary to the spirit if not the letter of the state Constitution, redirects money meant for the general fund to non-public education, including religious schools.

Hassan and the new Legislature should also give the recently-enacted voter ID law the ax. It risks disenfranchising some voters and, in the absence of any evidence of voter fraud, is an unnecessary and meaningless encumbrance on the process.

They should work to repeal the misguided parental notification law on abortion. And they should revisit the new “stand your ground” law and the policy that permits civilians to bring guns into the State House.

You can be sure that this mouthpiece is signaling two things:
