Recent research by the Manhattan Institute suggests that border jumpers (no duh! moment approaching) represent a significant cost to taxpayers that their deportation would alleviate. The complete unroll is impressive (look here), but the gist is that the cost of illegal immigration is … Read more

The otherwise intolerant and intolerable State of Massachusetts amended its firearms laws over the summer. It might have been the heat (more likely the lawsuits) that inspired them, but they managed to cough up H4885, “An Act modernizing firearm laws.” Aside from being an overly long mess, it allows nonresidents to travel through the state armed … Read more
This campaign by Kamala Harris is the biggest show about nothing since the end of the Seinfeld series. Democrats are not being adequately held accountable for the side effects of policies they not only support but defend. While the economy is high on everyone’s list, their border and migration policy is far more devastating. And I’m not talking about eating other people’s pets – which – as an aside, is, in fact, something … Read more
Yeah, curmudgeon here. When I was younger, I played around with X10 devices to create a “smart home” and all that. But when I saw this, I said “Yep, nope!”: Smart House should be MY house without all the electronic peeping toms watching everything I do: vacuum cleaners, lights, thermostats, Alexa, Siri, and all the … Read more

After all, how do you trust a government that continuously sidesteps the Constitution and undermines our rights? You can’t.
