NO, Girls and Women Will Not Sit Down and Shut UP

School administrators are contemplating whether they should allow their girls’ sports teams to play against a team with a biological male on it; instead of the adults in their school making this hard decision, the girls and their families are refusing to play. It sure makes you wonder where have all the leaders gone?

How sad is it that so many people surrounding these girls do not have the courage to stand up for what is right? Women fought for too long to earn some of the opportunities that were afforded to men. Today, women (and some men) are fighting back to keep those opportunities for women, and the young girls coming up behind them.

As a parental rights advocate standing with these women and girls, I can say that NO – we will not sit down and shut up. Those of you trying to shame females into silence are not going to strip us of what we have rightfully won. We are the feminists today who are willing to support what feminists of yesterday fought for.

This is playing out in New Hampshire, where it has become a partisan issue. On one side, you have Republicans agreeing to defend the rights of women and girls, but on the other side, Democrats stand against us. Weren’t Democrats supposed to be the party of feminism? They finally have an opportunity to stand up for our rights, and instead, they stab us in the back.

The biological male who plays on a girls’ team took that spot away from a girl. The biological male who wins an award or scholarship also took that away from a girl. Those are the scientific facts; we will not be shamed or bullied into silence. This isn’t anti-trans because the trans community is undoubtedly free to arrange a team for themselves, just like those who compete in the special Olympics categories.

Trans players also have the ability to play on a boys’ team. They are not denied an opportunity to compete, but women and girls will not give up their opportunities in the process.

We need to consider the lessons we are teaching girls. Girls need to know that the protection of their rights is non-negotiable. While girls may not always win, they must know they have a fair shot along with her peers.

Today school administrators are NOT sharing that message with the girls playing sports. In some cases, girls have been punished for expressing their opposition to these unfair practices. They’ve been told to shut up and sit down if they do not want to share a locker room with a male teammate who walks around naked while making sexual gestures. Yes, that has happened in some of the schools in New Hampshire. To support this Woke agenda, girls are becoming second-class citizens again.

Sadly, this has now become a partisan battle, with Democrats in New Hampshire standing firmly against these women and girls. Look at their voting record. They had an opportunity to support girls/women’s sports, but most of them did not.

With the election coming up on November 5th, don’t forget to vote down your ballot. This agenda to erase women has to stop. We need to send a message to anyone running for office: if you oppose our rights, we will not elect you.
