A sitting New Hampshire House Rep tweeted, regarding the Pledge of Allegiance, that the “Liberty and Justice for All’ line irks her every time. Would it work better for you if we put the word ‘Social’ before Justice?
We’d have to take out the ‘liberty’ and ‘for all’ parts because social justice is for a select few who agree to toe a very narrow set of double-standards across the nation, without God, truly divisible, no matter what the inclusive excellence dogma may advertise.

Did the New Hampshire Department of Justice Hack the 2018 Election?
If you have been following New Hampshire politics this year, you know that House Bill 1264 became law. HB 1264 is intended to end the undemocratic practice of allowing out-of-state residents to vote in New Hampshire elections.
Once HB 1264 becomes effective the act of voting in New Hampshire will be deemed a declaration by the voter that he or she is a New Hampshire resident. This, obviously, will dissuade drive-by voting (which massively favors Democrats).
Note what I just wrote: “[o]nce HB 1264 becomes effective.”

I live in Hooksett with my wife, Marika, and son, Max. We also have a daughter in college. Professionally, I work as a computer engineer and have a master’s degree in computer science.
Family and education are important to me, which is why I am involved in the Hooksett community as an elected member of the budget committee.
GrokDebates – yes, we want to do them. We ARE going to do them going forward
Over the years, GraniteGrok has made it part of our Citizen Journalism to cover debates. One reason is that we like listening (and critiquing) who was there, what was said, and to determine their political philosophies with respect to the NH Constitution, US Constitution, and to date, the NH GOP. We did debates, and covered them in unique ways, that the mainstream press just couldn’t or wouldn’t. Part of the later is either just a lack of time (on TV News) or space (newspaper “inches” or word counts. We, on the other hand, have neither limitation.
We also covered debates that they didn’t – they (and often the NH GOP) are only interested in the top of the ticket races: Governor, US Congress, US Senate. The other races?
Pound sand. Well, no longer. I’ve been yakking about taking GraniteGrok to the “next” level – debates will be part of that. While we will still cover other folks’ debates, we believe it is time to do our own. And we shall.
Sales Tax in NH – A Constitutional & NH House take on S. Dakota vs Wayfair SCOTUS decision
Recently, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) handed down an opinion in the South Dakota versus Wayfair (SD v Wayfair). The South Dakota Legislature had passed a law that enabled South Dakota to go after taxes on purchases citizens had made from Wayfair. The S. D. Supreme Court held that the law was unconstitutional, and it was appealed to SCOTUS. Previously, SCOTUS had held the opinion that no taxes could be collected if the retailer had no substantial physical presence in the State seeking the tax revenue.
Parallel to this an organization has grown up.
Democrat Lawmaker Created Intimidating and Abusive Environment
The New Hampshire House recently releases some documents in which was a redacted complaint filed earlier this year by a NH House staffer. The staffer alleges that a particular New Hampshire House Rep. “made frequent derogatory comments to or about the employee, and engaged in “a long pattern of behavior” that created a “hostile work environment.”

Cornerstone has released its scorecard for the 2018 Legislative session.
Cornerstone’s 2018 legislative scorecard selects 14 roll call votes in the New Hampshire Senate and 18 roll call votes in the House from the 2017-18 legislative session. The Raw Score is the score that most closely reflects how the actual percentage a legislator’s votes aligned with Cornerstone’s agenda.
Three State Senators and twenty-five members of the NH House earned a 100% ‘Heroes of the Family’ Rating.

Hello! I’m Bob Greene and I’m running for NH State Rep in Hillsborough District 37 (Hudson/Pelham). I’m a 13-year Hudson resident, married to Kathy for 29 years, and a 20-year Air Force veteran with assignments in Illinois, Germany and Hanscom AFB. The next logical step for me is to get off the sidelines and run for NH State Rep, because although we currently have a Republican majority in the House, we have too many reps in our party who either 1) don’t represent the party’s interests by kowtowing to unions or political correctness or 2) have poor attendance/voting records in Concord, resulting in devastating GOP losses on the House floor on several critical issues. My goal will be 100% attendance in NH House sessions — no less, since I have the flexibility with my employer to be in Concord for all sessions and committee work. And I am making a solemn promise to my future House GOP colleagues and my constituents to have a voting record that truly represents my district’s and party’s values and supports the NH Advantage.
Why New Hampshire’s ‘hurried’ Internet Sales Tax Solution Had to Die
The recent scramble to “do something” after the Wayfair decision said states could tax internet sales was big news.
When the New Hampshire House killed the ‘bipartisan’ draft language that was big news.
What should be even bigger news is that the language the committee used to draft the proposed legislation could hand some measure of “tax administration rulemaking” over to an out-of-state third party.
