We are reaping the “benefits” of expanding Medicaid as “unexpected” cost overruns just a few months in require $58 Million in cuts to the Health and Human Services Budget. The Democrat governor is cutting funding to nursing homes and mental health patients and the Democrat party is calling these cuts ‘Responsible.’
[Art.] 2-a. [The Bearing of Arms.] All persons have the right to keep and bear arms in defense of themselves, their families, their property and the state.
Yet another bill on the Gun Control system. Gidge must think that he’s got a winner here – if the mentally ill are the ones using guns to carry out these mass killings, then let the gun owners here in NH pay for mental illness care when they buy their hated, dastardly toys, right? Yet, he doesn’t even have the political courage to put his intent into the title of his bill ( like “An Act to force those bitter gun schmucks to pay for new hospital beds“). His goal – PUNISH a class of people within NH that happen to love and love to exercise their Second Amendment Rights by making it more expensive for gun owners (and NEW gun owners) to do their hobby or profession.

AN ACT establishing a commission to study funding mechanisms for increasing the number of mental health beds statewide.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Chapter; Commission to Study Funding Mechanisms for Increasing the Number of Mental Health Beds Statewide. Amend RSA by inserting after chapter 126-V the following new chapter:
I have already observed, on several occasions, the professional lefts efforts to perpetrate a prevailing media narrative about the sorry state of higher education, the “crumbling” mental health apparatus and our inadequately funded alcohol awareness and treatment programs. They are doing this to fertilize the budgetary soil for the necessary tax and spending increases required to (they would argue) help alleviate the growing injustice of under-educated, alcohol abusers, with a side order of mental health issues, that only an increase in state-managed taxpayer dollars can possibly resolve.
Well I am here to help. With one wave of my blogging wand I will “educate” the people on how we can reduce the prevalence of “mental health issues” and “alcohol abuse” in the Granite State (or anywhere), without more spending or taxes, all the while mocking the motley cabal of un-aborted, specula-wielding, would-be-tax-increasing left-wing harpies and their policy-cuckolded camp followers, who have been celebrating four decades of “legally” clawing defenseless unborn children out of women’s wombs.
