New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio Attracts a Crowd of Six People in New Hampshire

Bill de Blasio was in New Hampshire Sunday for a panel discussion on mental health. Twenty people showed up. Fourteen of the twenty were on the panel.  That means only six people showed up — one for each reporter who appeared to document the dismal showing.

Yes, there were as many reporters as attendees. If we count them the “crowd” was twelve. If you count the panelists, it was 26. I’ve had more people show up to listen to me. Which means Bill de Blasio might want to rethink what the New York Post calls his “ongoing tease of a presidential run.”

But the magic number is six. That’s the number that showed up who weren’t part of the event. I assume that number doesn’t include any staff from the facility or campaign workers, though it might. The NYP does not say.

The New York Post does go on to point out that de Blasio’s focus was more toward NYC first lady Chirlane McCray. The Mental health discussion was based on her plan for the Big Apple. The one that critics say has wasted 1.8 billion dollars.

I guess no one in New Hampshire is interested in her or that either. Which seems odd. New Hampshire Democrats are trying to waste all sorts of money and they’ve only been in the majority for just over ten weeks.
