Is Confusing Your Kids About Gender a Form of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy?

A parent or guardian foments or perpetuates a condition in a child. They then feed off the supposed psychological benefits of the public act of care, treatment, or even acceptance of that condition. It is regarded as both a mental health issue and a form of child abuse.

So, is the urge to transgender children or exposure to situations that encourage it a form of Munchausen Syndrome by proxy?

Given what else we know, this seems like a possibility.

The LGBTQ community has high levels of suicide, drug, and substance abuse. The American College of Pediatricians has called confusing your child about gender a form of abuse. There is potential for long-term treatment, chemical or surgical. Parents who refuse to “gender their children” or encourage “ignoring biology” to appear #woke, clearly do so for some sort of self-centered psychological benefit.

Someone should do a study.
