I had to check three times, as I didn’t believe the scores could go any lower. Drumroll, please. I guess a new 9 million dollar school and 7 or 8 (lost count) tax cap overrides in ten years for the school budget does not improve education.

At Wednesday’s school board meeting in Croydon, a former school board member and current math teacher — the latter detail turns out to be important — stood up to say that he is ‘happy to help pay to educate other people’s children.’

Administrators waste a LOT of money on fads, coaches, programs, and consultants. All they have to do is read a few articles by Barry Garelick, and they will improve the quality of math education in your schools. Yes, it can be that simple.

Seattle is majority white. Sorry, I meant majority white-guilt. Three-quarters of the population is not a minority by the left’s definition. (66% white, 10% Asian.) And because white everything is oppressive, the public-school system has adopted the new (new) [NEW] Social Justice math.
