I’m supposing that I’m going to have to get one of these in a few years for the Grandson. I’m also expecting that he’d be looking for it to go BOOM! to boot.
But think of the chemistry needed to make, the metallurgy, the physics / math to accurately hit the target, and the communications skills needed to wield it correctly (as in “GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!”). So there, an IDEAL nexus point in which to have a great lesson plan.
And look, the student is enjoying it! Isn’t that half the battle?

Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom and how the Government is taking that away. As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us. As a TEA Party activist, citizen journalist, and pundit!, my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture.
