Lyndon LaRouche democrats have been showing up at tea party events with the Obama Hilter-mustache signs and posters, and now we have Obama For America democrats–now Organizing For America–waving pictures of Republican candidates, or pundits like Glen Beck and Sarah Palin, with Hitler mustaches painted on them.

Separation of powers was meant to divide the authority so that a process of checks and balances was created to protect the people from abuses of power. This simple reality makes two things the democrats want you to believe impossible.
Paul Hodes is trying to restyle himself as a fiscal conservative. As a Washington outsider. But Washington outsiders don’t get huge campaign donations from the left wings senatorial elite Like Dan Inoyue, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer and Bob Menendez. Paul Hodes does.
Fiscal conservatives don’t manage to come in 45th out of 435 in 2010 earmark requests. Hodes did, then played at fiscal prudence, calling for reform only after having racked up more earmarks than 390 other House members.
In 2008 Hodes took a 10,000.00 dollar contribution from American Crystal sugar–a business looking for a way to break into ethanol production without burdensome upfront costs–the same year Hodes passed masive Ethanol hand-out farm bill mandates which he voted for, then overrode a veto to make it the law of the land.
Mr Hodes has the distinction of being in congress and voting for a budget and spending that resulted in a 400 billion dollar deficit, then campaigning as if he had nothing to do with, and then voting to triple that deficit to 1.4 trillion in the very next budget.

Max Baucus, Democrat Senator from Montana, is the chairman of the Senate Finance committee and his Glacier PAC has donated $10,000.00 dollars to Paul Hodes for Senate. Baucus may be best known for his influence on Health Care reform or Climate change legislation. But what he should be known for is his relationship with lawyer/staffer Melodee Hanes, (here, here and here) whom he left his wife for, and also nominated for a job as US district attorney from Montana. (then there’s this) Talk about inside baseball. But banging a staffer, dumping your wife, and then trying to hook-her up with a well paying federal job–even if it is love–demands questions about your core values and integrity so it’s a good thing he’s a democrat.
If Baucus was Mark Sanford for example, the media would have hung him from the pillory by his man-parts and shamed him out of seeking higher office which makes you wonder if Mark Sanford would have faired better if he’d tried to get his Argentinean mistress a job at the State Department? Buy her a blue dress and hello Oval Office? I guess we’ll never know, but since Baucus is a powerful Senator and a democrat, everything about it is a non-scandal-scandal to the unbiased media so he was never in any serious danger over that cozy relationship; but should it make Paul Hodes think twice?

A few weeks ago the NHDP mounted what they would call (if a Republican did it)a smear campaign. It was against Bob Guida, and it was for being honest. I know, that’s probably what threw them but that’s not why they dropped the arugula or spilled their latte in a mad dash for the keyboard. Bob, bless his heart, had the gall to suggest that “Marriage Equality" was the root of all evil, and also said that single mothers were the result of a breakdown of marriage.
That’s Bob’s opinion. How refreshing.
Meanwhile, the digital ditch diggers and ditch fillers over at the NHDP–proper Keynesian’s that they are–felt the need to dust off an old standard (not terribly forwarding looking or progressive of them by the way) and wave it in the direction of Mr. Guida. It’s the "we demand an apology" and "the GOP should denounce this or they are all agreeing with it" meme. In response, the GOP and Mr. Guida did almost exactly the right thing. They paid almost no attention whatsoever.
So why bring it back up? Because they didn’t do ‘exactly the right thing.’
Money laundering is illegal unless you are in congress. Once you are a member in good standing you earn the privelege of access to a hoard of cash accumulated by the hundreds and hundreds of congressional PAC’s fed by those buying influence. It is money that comes from lobbyists, special interests, the corporate culture of business big and small, unions, fringe groups, mainstream special interests, and everyone else. Carol Shea Porter is a willing recipient of hundreds of thousands of dollars over her congressional career from this polluted well, but she would like very badly for to believe that "the money don’t know where it came from."
"The money don’t know" meme is the standard dodge reported ad nuaseum on television and in movies whenever one of our imperfect heroes discovers some stash of drug cash. It’s tainted money, accumulated by thugs and murderers on the lives, weakness, and addictions of others, (just like congress) but as the story goes…it’s ok to take it because the money don’t know where it came from. The heroes resist temptation. Shea Porter is no such hero.
From this mornings Nashua Telegraph, Kevin Landrigan quotes Sheep-Porter’s campaign manager Angela Ruslander as she justifies the paltry 200K in fundraising last quarter.

It’s Carol Shea-Porter week over at Boo-Hoo Hampshire. That means quality opinion about the antics of the 1st district congresspersonista from New Hampshire are the order of the day, every day, until next Monday. So the guys at Granite Grok are more than happy to embrace Carol’s stated commitment to bi-partisan support, an angle you are not going to find at Blue Hamster, by providing alternative commentary about her for the duration, in honor of her having voted with her party leadership 98% of the time.
By the way. Do you know why Carol only votes with her party 98% of the time? She’s missed 2% of the votes.
But to be fair, and we know Carol is all about fair, we’ll leave it up to Blue Dumpster to produce Carol’s bi-partisan record in congress. That’s when she does not vote with the leadership PAC money that keeps coming her way for being such a good little do-bee. (Remember what Frau Pelosi says..don’t be a "Dont Bee," be a "Do Bee.") So good luck to them. I don’t think they can pull it off. Carol is easily one of the most reliable votes for the expansion of the Nancy-State.
I’d also like to see them merge her voting record with the "Independent voice for New Hampshire" rhetoric, an equally challenging effort given the facts. Of course Dean is not looking for facts he’s looking for sympathy. He’s mounting this "give Carol a big ol’ hug" campaign to energize whatever is left of the base or it’s support for Carol Shea-Porter since the independent voice of the independent’s has jumped ship leaving him with his voice, the left wing church choir, and a handful of RINO’s lurking over at Red Hampshire. So how much you want to bet we get more traffic on ‘CSP Week’ than he does?

They are making hay and BS sandwiches over at Boo-Hoo Hampshire, this time about the latest unemployment benefits stalemate. Dean Barker–the Boo Hoo Guru–had begun by waxing on the CBS news coverage on the latest unemployment extension debate when he decided to lament (or perhaps invent) 30 years of GOP policy crushing the little guy, and how even now they are somehow still pulling the levers to crush them even more. No I’m serious.
But the best part is the “Boo-Hoo” hook.
The innocent victims, Mr. and Ms. Joe Taxpayer, won’t get what they need to stay solvent. And nearly one of ten of them can’t find work. And that’s not counting the vast underemployed.
The innocent victims! Well what about that?

John Lynch Goes Gay (Sort Of)
The Ray and Kathy Show has this gag they do all the time where they complain about outside money or special interests on the right affecting local elections. It’s a serious gas because everyone knows it’s actually a projection upon others of their own involvement with deep-pocketed outside interests with which they then exert pressure upon the local worker bees doing the Yeoman’s work at hiding their radical left wing agenda. But they think it works so we try to play along. Case in point: Governor John “Liar” Lynch was recently taken to task for saying one thing and doing another on the not uncontroversial subject of same sex marriage. Lynch flip flopped and plenty of us asked if someone put the thumb screws on our diminutive chief executive.
No, no. Lynch is his own man concerned about equality and civil rights, Blah blah blah.
