Shea-Porter’s Money “Don’t know were it came from.”

Carol's LaundryMoney laundering is illegal unless you are in congress. Once you are a member in good standing you earn the privelege of access to a hoard of cash accumulated by the hundreds and hundreds of congressional PAC’s fed by those buying influence. It is money that comes from lobbyists, special interests, the corporate culture of business big and small, unions, fringe groups, mainstream special interests, and everyone else. Carol Shea Porter is a willing recipient of hundreds of thousands of dollars over her congressional career from this polluted well, but she would like very badly for to believe that "the money don’t know where it came from."

"The money don’t know" meme is the standard dodge reported ad nuaseum on television and in movies whenever one of our imperfect heroes discovers some stash of drug cash. It’s tainted money, accumulated by thugs and murderers on the lives, weakness, and addictions of others, (just like congress) but as the story goes…it’s ok to take it because the money don’t know where it came from. The heroes resist temptation. Shea Porter is no such hero.

From this mornings Nashua Telegraph, Kevin Landrigan quotes Sheep-Porter’s campaign manager Angela Ruslander as she justifies the paltry 200K in fundraising last quarter.

""Since Carol’s winning campaign in 2006 she has never accepted contributions from D.C. Lobbyists or business PAC’s,…Instead, Carol has always relied on a strong grassroots network. This support ensures that Carol can continue to stand up for Granite State veterans, soldiers, seniors, and middle class families."

Bwahahahahaha! Angela how the hell do you sleep at night?

Angela, like Carol, expects you to accep that the "money don’t know where it came from." But not so fast Cracker killers of unborn Cracker babies. We’ve got some history to explore.

Ideological, Congressional PAC’s and campaign committees are Carols primary source of PAC money. Those PAC’s all take money from big business, and industry. Some of them are more famous than others, like former cracker Jack Murtha, Non-cracker Charlie Rangel, and others like Rahm Emanuel, half-craker Obama, West Coast Cracker Frau Pelosi, Steny Hoyer (very cracker-like), and even the Biggest cracker of all George Soros who is still not from New Hampshire but has both donated directly to Carol, and through his well-funded MoveOn.org. " But that money don’t know where it came from."

In 2010 Sheep-porter is repeating the process with $250,000 so far from PAC’s run by people not from New Hampshire like..

Donna Edwards (D-MD), Henry Waxman (D-CA), Jerrold Madler (D-NY), Sander Levin (D-MI, Deb Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Bruce Braley (D-IA), James Clyburn (D-SC), Betty McCollum (D-MN), Steny Hoyer (D-MD), Neil Abercrombie (D-HI, Allyson Schwartz (D-PA), Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) , John Larson (D-CONN), Solomon Ortiz (D-TX), George Miller (D-CA), Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), Phil G. Hare (D-IL), Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Mike Michaud (D-ME); and can’t you just feel the love for Granite State Middle class families? Most or all take money from business industry PAC’s and lobbyists which they then launder along to Carol.  And Carol accepts it.

And here’s a news flash. Planned Parenthood is a business. The Hospital and health care association PAC’s that have donated to Carol represent millions from health care businessmen and investors to further their interests. Green energy–a business; a bad business that needs taxpayer dollars from carol. And she has voted for tons of it. And then there are the Unions. Unions are a huge business exerting massive influence afforded exemptions and exceptions because of people like Carol. And they reward her loyalty.

So in a state where only 120 out of every thousand employees are represented by a union, many against their will, Carol accepts 500 out of every 1000 dollars in PAC money from Unions whose PAC addresses are outside the state of New Hampshire.

Guh?

And then there’s ActBlue the invisible hand of campaign finance where hundreds, even thousands of contributions trickle in from leaders of business and industry as personal contributions under the radar.

And finally (for now) there is this. On September 9th 2008 Carol was the object of affection at the National Democrat Club Town House breakfast. Almost every democrat gets at least one of these.

"Contribution Information: $5000 PAC Host; $2500 PAC Sponsor; $1000 PAC; $1000 Individual Sponsor; $250 Individual."

So are we to assume no one showed up? Perhaps Camp Carol could release the donor list to relieve any concerns that this might punch yet another hole in the "Carol doesn’t take money from lobbyists or business PAC’s lie they keep barfing up like snack food after a heavy night of drinking Kool-aid. Maybe since she takes plenty of money from PAC’s that take money from lobbyists and big business they figure no one will notice?

Not to worry. We should expect the pat answer; that ‘the money don’t know where it comes from." Too bad we know where it comes from and more importantly what it buys–our congresswoman.
