They say Bill Gates isn’t into beer, but he is a big fan of social engineering, viruses, farmland, lab-based meat, burying trees, and being a billionaire—oh, and “updates.” So the question of the day is, what inspired a nearly 100 million investment in Bud Light beleaguered Anheuser Busch?
Conglomerates upload and offload brands and businesses all the time, but selling is typically only something you do if the price is right or you need to hedge some bad bets. I’m not sure which this is, but post-Bud Man replacement Mulvaney, it looks bad for AB.
The now infamous Dylan Mulvaney is the online influencer that influenced millions of consumers to stop buying Bud Light. The brand is still reeling, while gender warrior Mulvaney claims it has resulted in so much hate (with zero support from BUD) that he had to retreat to Peru.
Here in the Upper Valley the leadership among the local churches has a variety of approaches to leading their congregants, so far as teaching the Bible and sharing the gospel. Some churches and their leaders take a traditional approach with acoustic hymns and worship styles followed by line by line exegesis of the scripture.
Persistence pays off, or in this case, costs the casually woke or indifferent. Bud is still scrambling to distance itself from an alleged third-party marketing mistake named Mulvaney, as the Wrath of Can begins to impact more than just Bud Light sales.
BUD has been downgraded by HBSC as a hold, and they can’t even give away Bud Light. Their other brands are also tanking, and his tweet shows us why.

Bolder and stupider, this guy gets. Yes, that gay guy that has made millions from endorsements (for “celebrating 365 of womanhood”) from corporations seeking to up their ESG (Equity, Social, Governance) score.
If you search any variation of “Bud Light Sales down,” the results will look like a drunk guy peeing in an alley, as in, all over the place. Down 30%, 69%, and 80%. You will find fact-checks by major media outlets whose relationship with the truth is spotty at best. But are they wrong?
