Democrats are losing what passes for their mind in Arizona. Governor Doug Ducey says no extra grant funds for you if you violate the state law. He’s referring to school districts that force kids to mask up this fall.

In short, someone says the governor, Chris Sununu, has said that “we will not lockdown again, there will be no mask mandate, there will be no vaccine passport here in NH.”

I’m jealous. As part of phase three re-opening strategy, Florida Governor Ron Desantis has nullified COVID19 restrictions statewide. With, of course, the option to personally adopt one for your space, with conditions.
Portsmouth’s City Council approved a mask mandate on a 7-2 vote last week. The city had fewer than five known active coronavirus infections the day the ordinance passed, meaning more councilors voted for the ordinance than there were active cases in the city, NH Journal pointed out.

It is naive of us to hope that we or they learned any lessons after the debacle of the original response to COVID. They aren’t reading the docs forced out into the public from Pfizer, the FDA, or the CDC. They don’t know what the experts had to admit was true.
The People’s Republic of Keene has rescinded its mandatory mask mandate city-wide. The Nashua Board of Alderman is scheduled to revisit theirs tonight, and it seems likely it too will be mothballed.
