Nashua Public Servants… are our Masters?

October 13, 2021 Burt Janz

Elections in Nashua are held every year. In “even” years, candidates for federal office are on the ballot. In “odd” years, candidates for local and state offices are on the ballot. But because local elections don’t generate the excitement and (sometimes) national coverage of elections for federal offices, Nashua residents rarely show up at the polls.

October 11, 2021 Op-Ed

Nashua citizens will be voting to choose two Public Works Commissioners on November 2. Three out of the four candidates have no conflict of interest holding the office. Candidate Paul Shea has a clear conflict of interest holding that office.

America Needs to Rethink the Way We Educate Our Children.

October 11, 2021 Op-Ed

America needs to rethink the way we educate our children. The public school system was meant to be a means to shore up and strengthen the nation’s experiment in limited government. But what was sold to America in the 1800s as a servant has now become a powerful, perverted, centralized, master.

Nashua Isn’t Nashua Anymore

October 11, 2021 Burt Janz

I moved into Nashua in 1982 the week after I was honorably discharged from the US Navy. It was still a relatively small “city” just north of the Massachusetts border. Main Street had a movie theater, there were practice soccer fields on Amherst Street, and the only mall was just off Exit 6.

Nashua: Local Elections ARE Partisan!

October 9, 2021 Laurie Ortolano

I have become increasingly concerned about the negative impact of partisan politics on our local government. While this city is chartered as a non-partisan city, public discussion and communication with some in City Hall has become all too partisan.

What Do Nuclear Power And Ivermectin Have In Common?

October 7, 2021 Op-Ed

There is no question that leftism exists in direct conflict with common sense, morality, decency, and truth. The easiest way to observe this trend is to pick a topic – any topic – which leftists espouse and then ask yourself if an idea can be extended to its logical conclusion or has any limiting principles.

Make No Mistake, the Educational Establishment Has Made Its Choice.

October 4, 2021 Op-Ed

One historian starts his course on the history of freedom with the battle of Marathon in 409 BC. I think it began with the Exodus from Egypt. Or perhaps it was when Moses picked up his pen and began to write Genesis.

October 1, 2021September 29, 2021 Ann Marie Banfield

What has happened to parents? They are turning on each other over what is happening in THEIR local public schools. Things seem to be intensifying after last year’s shut down of schools due to COVID-19.

OPPOSE Federal DHHS Money and Federal CONTROL of NH [Update!]

September 29, 2021 Op-Ed

Sununu just upped the ante. He’s lobbying to accept the $27 million federal grant for 13 NEW vaccine propaganda positions — with strings attached that will REMOVE our state sovereignty. The governor and Executive Council may be voting on this TOMORROW, and we must PROTEST to show them we DO NOT approve.

This is developing into an ongoing series of posts based on a handout I created and which was given around at the Merrimack School Board meeting on September 20. September 26, 2021 Op-Ed

Extending The Logic Of No Vax, No Service

September 21, 2021 Op-Ed

Leftists want to ruin Americans’ lives for not conforming to Covid fear porn or complying with vaccine mandates. No effort has been made to convince us Covid is scary or the vaccine is worthwhile; instead, they lie to us with cheap statistical tricks and admonish us with thinning patience.
