The Tax Foundation has ranked New Hampshire 7th overall nationally in 2018 for business tax climate. This is excellent news particularly when we compared to our northeastern neighbors.
Massachusetts ranks 22nd. Maine Ranks 28th. Rhode Island is 41st, Connecticut 44th, and Vermont 47th. If you want to include New York, they rolled in at 49. And not one of them is doing anything to improve things.
But New Hampshire is.
On Saturday I referenced the passage of expanded Medicaid out of the State Senate. The new Bradley-Care Bill, SB313, complete with a new and improved five-year plan (instead of two, cue the Soviet national anthem) got the yeah votes of every Democrat in the New Hampshire Senate and seven out of fourteen “Republicans.”
The chief cheerleader of SB313 is also the chief facilitator of Medicaid Expansion in New Hampshire, Republican Senator Jeb Bradley who is, naturally, excited about the bipartisan support for his otherwise wholly progressive undertaking.
I just don’t understand – how could this many genders pop-up so suddenly and at this time in history? Has the “arc of History” that Progressives keep yammering about just wrapped itself into a pretzel? (H/T: Powerline)

One of the first folks I ran into at the rally was loyal reader and commenter was Allen and his better half – just wanted to say “Hi” again!
I also ran into Steve Negron who announced a while ago that he was going to be running in the Republican Primary to become that Party’s nominee to challenge Democrat Ann Kuster.

Well, I screwed up royally yesterday. For some reason, I thought the rally started at 2 pm and so, following my normal protocol of “arriving early” to help with setup, I drove down to the State House in Concord NH and arrived a few minutes before 1 pm. Turning onto the street next to the State House, my first thought was “WHY are so many cars here already?” and then saw the crowd and thought to myself “what, there’s another rally before the WLDNH one?” as there were a LOT of people already standing in front of the building. Then I saw what everyone was carrying (what would you expect at a gun rally??) and the flags. Sigh….just smack me around.
What has now become a tradition at the WDLNH annual rallies is that all the participants and attendees end up with a group picture on the steps of the NH Capital building. If you ever questioned media bias, which is ridiculous because even the media is finally admitting it is biased, the “coverage” of yesterdays’ Women’s Defense league 2A rally should resolve this for you.
There wasn’t much coverage at all, but WMUR wins an award for slanted coverage.

This is hysterical! This takes a special kind of stupid to associate that name, Gilford Taxpayers Coalition, with the Town of Gilford. Now, there could be one of two reasons for this – or a special kind of stupid person (or group of people) – that would require a Town Administrator to denounce and deny that the Town has any affiliation with such a group:

Yep, Chairman Mao Buckles Ray Buckley of the NH Dems wouldn’t know what gun safety is even if it bit him in the arse. He’s just all out of sorts that people actually believe ALL of the US Constitution and the NH one as well:
