Is My School Board Ready To Run On The NHSBA Agenda?

Irritating the Bureaucracy makes me smile.  Irritating the lobbying arm of the bureaucracy that disguises itself as something else is even better.  And that is what my friend Gary Krupp has done on his maiden voyage into the Blogosphere.  (Welcome to the deep end of the pool.)

Gary gives us an update on the local effort at damage control by the pro-lobbyist faction in town; the New Hampshire School Board Association (NHSBA) was invited to perform for the school board, which like some corpulent monarch was adequately amused to continue offering them indulgences…it is not, after all, their money.

The School Board lapped it up. They threw a few softballs Mr. Comstock’s way, and then discussed the process for submitting resolutions of their own for the upcoming NHSBA delegate assembly.

Thank you sire, thank you…

Will Hillary Clinton Give Barack Obama An October Surprise?

LIBYA Embassy Attack Benghazi - Will Clinton take the fall?Congress is preparing to investigate the Benghazi attack and what lead to the death of Ambassador Stevens and three others.  It will also have to follow the trail of ‘cover-up’ bread crumbs left in the two weeks that followed, by which the Administration lied about almost everything, what they knew, when, and why.

The Department of State and Secretary Hillary Clinton have said they will assist however they can, and are responding promptly to witness requests by the Oversight committee.

So here’s my thinking.  Given that the Administration and State knew, and what we all now know, if Clinton gets hung up on this does it end her political career?  Could Benghazi destroy any remaining interest she might have had at running for President in 2016?

Is Telling A Black Woman To Kill Herself Racist?

Stacey-Dash gets hate from leftActress Stacey Dash, who is easily as black as Barack Obama, announced that she would be voting for Mitt Romney.  The (in)tolerant left unleashed their tweeting Klansman who proceeded to heap hate upon her, imploring that she just kill herself. (Did you notice the tweet from a PhD?  Dr. Hate!)

But why stop there?

How about house negro, Uncle Tom, or this one I never heard before… ‘Oreo cookie bitch?’  I can feel the ‘love’ from here.  So is an Obama supporter telling a woman of color to kill herself racist?

Birds of a Feather

WaPo At the end of fiscal 2011, Sesame Workshop and its subsidiaries had total assets of $289 million. About $29 million was held in cash and “cash equivalents,” mainly money-market mutual funds. Another $121 million on the balance sheet was held in “investments.” According to the accompanying notes, these investments included stakes in hedge funds … Read more

Bidenesque

Thanks Joe! “I was recently at my local gas station and asked a guy named Joey Danco. I said, ‘Joey, how much did it cost to fill your tank?’ You know what his answer was? He said, ‘I don’t know, Joe. I never have enough money to do it.’” Gas was $3.17 when Joe Biden … Read more

Obama Campaign Worker OK With People Voting Twice

In the wake of NH Superior Court Judge John Lewis insisting that out of state students should be able to vote in New Hampshire no matter what the elected legislature thinks, Project Veritas delivers a new video in which an Obama re-election campaign worker aids and abets a voter trying to vote in two states … Read more

THUD! – that’s the sound of the second shoe falling on Obama’s paid campaign minions…

Steve had the first one video here.  And now a second one has popped up from James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas with more paid Democrats laughing (yes, laughing!) at folks talking about committing voter fraud (er, the operative word as to the attitude of Obama’s campaign operatives was “Sweet!”).  You see, making suggestions on how to accomplish this just never seems to enter the heads of these wondertwits that they are aiding and abetting a felony-in-the-making.

And it further proves the long standing allegations of the Right that voter fraud does exist and it mostly acts like an iceberg – very little of it is seen:

As opposed to the earlier type of simply voting in the stead of someone else at a given polling place, this is more insidious.  While here in NH there is a relatively new system that links towns together so that if someone moves into a “recipient” town the “donor” town gets a notification, it doesn’t talk all that well to other states.  Which, as we can see, is the type of voter fraud outlined in this video.

Hypocrisy: Thy name be Al Gore (yet another Progressive)!

Since the Kyoto Climate Change treaty was rejected by the US Senate (and this uber-Progressive getting “the boot from the Oval Office” (losing his election)), we’ve had to put up with his (environmental) screeds in the national papers (and TV) about how Republicans (and Conservatives and Climate Deniers)  that if we all didn’t don his brand of hairshirt, drive electric Tonka trucks, use only 1 lightbulb, and the like, that the “planet’s fever” would destroy the planet.  Deniers: hate the poor, hate seniors, hate the disadvantaged, hate Bambi, and want the Greedy Capitalists to rule the world.  Profit is a dirty!

…Al Gore also talks to investors. Since 2007, the former Vice President in Bill Clinton’s administration has been preaching the benefits of putting your money where his mouth is: Alternative energy.

But if Al Gore has any message for investors today, it might very well be this: “Stay the hell away from alternative energy!”

Not that he would say so. At least out loud.

Climate policy is still firmly on the political agenda and corporate climate-related activity is increasingly strategic. Innovation is driving costs down and improving the business case for low carbon and high efficiency solutions.

Oh…wait!  That’s what he says…..but what is his Venture Capital fund, Generation Investment, actually doing?

Can You Tell Me How To Get, How To Get Obama off Sesame Streeeeet.

Big Bird tells Obama to get lostThe Bamster has never been about substance unless you can call corruption, failure, and collapse an accomplishment (He does!).   His current camping is no different.  And it’s gotten so petty that even the Children’s Television Workshop wants no part of it.

CTW (whose Sesame Street franchise is successful and worth millions and millions) has asked the Obama campaign to pull an ad that uses Big Bird to go after Mitt Romney.

Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns. We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down.

Four years in office, two of them with COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE GOVERNMENT, world on fire.  Economy is in the crapper.  And all they’ve got  left is an attack ad with a Big fictitious Yellow Bird who is  loaded ( A real 1%er). That’s all Obama is talking about.

Even the alphabets are calling it petty . And now the Bird has rejected  him.  And who could blame him.  Obama cheapens the brand.

And Big Bird doesn’t need our money.  He’s got more than most of us.   Fly be Free!

Univ Of Colorado Professors….Almost Agree With Me

Back on September 22nd I posted an article  about two Professors from the University of Colorado who have a model for determining who will win the White House.  They’ve been right in every Presidential election for the past 30 years.   At that time they predicted Romney 320 to Obama 218. I said more like, Romney … Read more

Obama.com – ‘Made In China’ – Part 3

I did not know that Erik Erikson was Russian!  Heh!  But adding onto Steve and Mike’s posts about how the Obama campaign is deliberately allowing “holes” in credit card processing for donations.  Well, Erik of RedState decided to push the envelope on seeing if his “inner Russian” could help Obama to the wire (reformatted, emphasis … Read more

Can’t put your $$ where yer mouth is, eh Kate Miller (DEMOCRAT candidate for NH House, Belknap 2)??

Kate Miller 2012 campaign signEver since this uber-Progressive from Meredith, NH got the boot from the NH House two years ago, I have had to put up with her screeds in the local papers about how NH Republicans have abandoned NH Values, how everything that has been done the last two years, how they hate the poor, hate seniors, hate the disadvantaged, have cut the budget to where it hurts the disadvantaged, they hate education, and….well, you get the idea.  TEA Party, Free Staters….extremists all and none of them care about anyone else but themselves (those selfish bastards!).  Words that have warmed the cockles of NHDP Chair Buckles, I would presume.

Frankly, she’s come across as an angry, sore loser that hates the limitations of the NH Constitution as well as the US Constitution.  Your money is her money, and her interests in redistributing your formerly private property (the result of your labor) trumps your needs to provide for your family.  She’s all about pushing that 47% to nose bleed levels.   It has been a constant litany from this Progressive harpie on jobs – you know, the kind that the Dems weren’t interested: YOU Republicans promised us jobs!  What are you doing that social stuff – that’s not JOB related!!  Why are you cutting that tax – that’s not JOB related!!  Where’s the jobs, jobs, jobs!

Never mind that the Dems didn’t campaign on social issues, but they sure legislated on ’em.  Jobs became an afterthought.  But one would think that with so much emphasis on her delusional daydream that Dems would do FAR better on creating jobs, she’d, you know, actually put her words to effect and helping a NH company with a NH job?

Oh Wait – what’s in that lower right hand corner of her sign?

Obama Couldn’t Run A Lemonade Stand (Nor could a NH Democrat) And Here’s Why?

Obama Couldn't run a lemonade StandWhen the economy got rough my employer had to cut back staffing.  By the time they were done we had dropped about 70% of our staff, down to the bare minimum needed to operate each department.   We kept the best people and asked them to do a lot more for the same money, and sometimes less. We went to smaller quarters.  We re-thought everything.  We looked for fat and cut it.  We analyzed how we did things when we were busy and a bit lazy and got into shape.

As it turns out, there were better, faster, and more efficient ways to get the same things done with fewer people, while spending less money.  We needed to do that, we did it, and we are surviving.  And if ever it comes time to grow again, then we’ll expand with more care and efficiency than before.

If we apply the way Democrats approach Government to business (our lemonade stand) it is the exact opposite.
