2012 Presidential Primary – Intensity, Part III

I’ve previously had Parts I and II, but now that the field has narrowed, we’ve gone from graphs to a simple chart.  To be honest, I was very surprised at the results – a couple of thoughts:

  • Very surprised that Mitt & Santorum are the highest rated for intensity.  That said, if you click on I & II above, their intensity scores have actually dropped a tad, but still equal with each other.
  • Huntsman – Given that he’s out (but that this poll was done before he dropped) shows that his support was, well, pretty bad.  And this does not signal good things for Rick Perry with a similar score.
  • Newt – as the Gallup post points out as well, his was the biggest drop since the last time I had looked.

However, all reports agreed that Newt, hands down, was the large winner in this last debate, it will be rather interesting to see if that changes anything here.  And of course, the poll that will mean the most will be Saturday when South Carolina heads to the polls.

Nope, not going to make any predictions.  Sure, it seems Romney like Romney and Santorum are leading right now, but this is why the game is played.

Still, the gap shows that when people pick, they stick for for the top two (mostly) which means there’s a whole of people who may be straying from the others…

Liberals promote Government Not Liberty

To the Editor,

Leo Sandy’s December 11th letter in the Laconia Daily Sun shows how  commonly understood terms can be used to mislead people.

While each form of government has a unique aspects, the key issue is  government‘s authority over people.  At one end of a spectrum are governments which have absolute control over citizens, where, in practice, people have no rights (despite perhaps a showpiece Constitution).  If you are arrested and executed or your property taken without a real trial, it doesn’t matter if the government calls itself a dictatorship, Kingdom, Socialist, Fascist, National Socialist (Nazi), Democracy, Republic, Communist, etc.

Would it  make any difference if you were being murdered by Hitler, along with about 10 million, or Stalin, with about 20 million, or Mao, with 80 million fellow citizens (or Che or Fidel who killed thousands)?  Each murderer claiming it was for “the good of the people“.

At the other end of the spectrum is no government, anarchy, where people have total freedom.  Anarchy never lasts long, strongmen normally take total control over people.  (Our Constitution defines a government intended to ensure each person’s freedom except when it infringes on another’s freedom and leaving ultimate control of government in the hands of the people not government officials.)

Whether you want to put Fascism on the left or right of the spectrum, it sits with other dictatorships, Communist, Socialist, Nazi, (traditional) Kingdoms, etc., and these forms of government are opposed by all American  Conservatives, “right wingers”.

The American supporters and admirers of Socialist and Communist governments are liberals.  They will quibble over definitions, ownership of the means of production, etc.,  but from the standpoint of average citizen’s rights versus the government, there is no meaningful difference between Communism and Fascism.

Even to a Mushroom, Facts Are Stubborn Things

I encountered a Tweet-Hole yesterday.  Some liberal mushroom thought they had something to add to the vote fraud debate and sent me this.

what about vote fraud in Iowa

The link takes you to a Media Matters article in which the author loosely speculates about close races and claims of voter fraud.  We are apparently meant to assume that fraud has occurred because the race is close.  Media Matters, the Soros funded left wing mouth piece of the Democrat party, is simply trying to create conflict between factions to cause division.  Sasha2000 seems to think that this non-issue in Iowa is the same thing as New Hampshire poll workers, caught on video, giving ballots to whomever walks up to the table and provides a name that happens to be on the checklist.

More likely sasha “the mushroom” 2000 has only heard the left wing spin on the video.  What follows is both predictable and priceless.

Perry Drops Out

Not sure I need to say much more, but when has that ever stopped me? Perry had a huge advantage but squandered it by being too casual about the public debate personae.  The end result was the crash and burn of an otherwise competent conservative with far fewer negatives than the rest of the field … Read more

Data Point – Prime spenders to decrease….

“…pointed us to this worrying trend.  The alarm is being sound by Harry Dent, who notes that the demographic of those in their peak spending years (age 46 to 50) has been on the decline since 2009. Based on Census data, this trend should continue until 2022.  This is is bad news when you consider … Read more

They call it Cramming Costs Down, I Call it Returning Local Control (and Local Responsibility)

We sent a Republican super-majority to the New Hampshire State House to deal with the profligate spending and incompetent accounting of the Democrats.   We can all disagree on the specifics of the outcome but one fact is clear–they did what we sent them there to do.  State government is no longer growing in excess of our ability to pay for it.   Spending is in line with revenues.  Real cuts have been enacted to state government.    No more Left wing lead Midnight tax and fee jamborees, searching the Granite couch cushions for new revenues to replace the “missing” ones.  Frugality is more the order of the day.  Without Democrats at the levers, the oppressive power of the purse has stopped accumulating in the State Capitol.

And if you had not noticed, the progressives in both parties are very unhappy about that.

Democrats And Voter Fraud

Ray Buckley’s Punchlines on Voter ID

This morning’s Union Leader features State Democratic Chairman Raymond Buckley calling for “bipartisan support” for prosecuting those who used the names of dead Granite Staters to receive ballots during the presidential primary.

Not at all surprising. In fact, many have wondered how long it would be before we heard from “Buckles the Clown” regarding the ongoing saga of Democratic advocacy of Vote Fraud in the Granite State.  Just another punchline from “Buckles.” Seriously. When has Raybo ever done anything for a higher bipartisan purpose?

And sometimes, Voter Fraud is committed not by voters but by Govt: Bedford School Board Lump at the Dump

Project Veritas showed the “seams” of the voting system here in NH could easily lead to Voter Fraud – and bloody hell broke out from the entrenched Political Class that for years sternly told us time after time after time that such a thing could not or would not happen (as if we were mere children sitting behind our wooden desks being given our lessons).

Well, that was for voters, but what about the flip side – those running the voting?

So, who is this guy and what is he trying to accomplish?  The answer is that this is the Bedford School District Clerk, 11/1/2003, who set up a polling place at the dump to give out absentee ballots to “enhance” the vote on a school bond.  Why the outpost at the dump?  In order to get the “privilege” of spending other peoples’ money, they needed > 50% of the voters to turn out to a special meeting so he was letting people “vote” at the dump.  He has a checklist on the table in front of him.

The AG “investigated” and said it was “highly irregular but not unlawful.”  Irregular, eh?  It violated multiple state statutes:

Wrong About RINOs

“I don’t make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts.” —Will Rogers

Representative Julie "The Mad Hatter" Brown, Strafford, District 1 RINO of the Year

When I began doing the RINO Report, I had opined initially that RINO’s don’t really care about my musings on whether or not he or she is a RINO. I was wrong about that. I am finding out that RINO’s do care. Fact is, I am finding out that some I have labelled as RINO’s are actually…well, quite thin skinned.

The true test of how well-read the blog has been, is evidenced by the number of people who stop on  by to call me a MORON.  Such viscera is good for the inner constitution.  And, Despite being negative, it’s still feedback.  When I get such feedback I am reminded of 28 years ago…back to the year, 1983, when I was a recruit at Third Battalion H Company at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island. As the Senior Drill instructor

NH – Where (More) Vote Fraud Really Has Been Around For Years

Vote Fraud has been prevalent, and hidden from New Hampshire voters, for years.   In fact, I know of a very large binder at a certain office in Concord, filled with evidence of voter fraud.   Evidence like this.

During the 2000 election 19 people claimed residence at #159 Bear Brook Road.  Nineteen people, all living and voting from one address?  Yes, all 19 registered to vote in New Hampshire, all from the same address.  As it turns out, none of them were actual New Hampshire residents.  In fact, there was no #159 Bear Brook road.  There was no #159 Bear Brook Road because there was no Bear Brook road.

The mandatory voter list purge that followed the 2000 elections produced 19 returned voter list letters, with 19 names of registered ‘NH’ voters, all for the same non-existent address, registered to vote in the November 2000 elections. They were all long gone by the time the letters were returned, votes cast and counted eight months before.  No charges were ever brought.  No one was ever tracked down.  Not by the NH AG at least.

Syrup of Ipecac For Lee Quandt

“A moment’s reflection shows that Liberalism is entirely negative. It is not a formative force, but always and only a disintegrating force.” —Francis Parker Yockey

RINO (ry•/n oh)  noun. (acronym)

            Republican in name only

  1. A person who runs for, or holds political office representing one’s self as a “Republican” but who adopts, votes for or advocates for political tenets that advance an agenda contrary to conservatism or the Republican party platform.
  2. A member of the Republican Party who is liberal.
Representative Lee Quandt (R)ino

One of our own RINO’s in the legislature has taken up the mantle of Charlatanry. But what makes this RINO Charlatanry so noteworthy is his engagement in tactics typically found on the left. People like Raymond Buckley, Kathy Sullivan, and Harrell Kirstein. Not only noteworthy are the tactics, but the very word choices used in the description.

Democrat Election Law Flashback! (It’s not just Voter Fraud…)

The New Hampshire Dead People party (NHDP) has made voter fraud easy so they could commit it at will while continuing to insist there is none.  And proof is not proof.  Getting a ballot without even a challenge is not an example of how easy it is to ….get a ballot without being challenged.

Another example of that is sign stealing, which also violates election law, unless you are the husband of a Democrat NH State Senator, captured on film, in the act of stealing campaign signs.  We don’t have voter fraud, even when we have it.  So we must not have sign stealing democrats either.  But we do.  (Geoff Wetrosky…you are on deck buddy–Geoff came from out of state to steal signs and votes, while living in then NHDP Chairman Kathy Sullivan’s house, and no one was prosecuted for that either.)

So since no one ever get’s prosecuted, I’d like to celebrate voter fraud-deniers awareness month with another example of left wing disregard for election law.  Originally posted in November 2010, it’s ‘Ray Buckley’s Norman Rockwell’…

Voter ID laws: Disenfranchising People Since…eh…When?

“American youth attributes much more importance to arriving at driver’s license age than at voting age.” Marshall McLuhan

Opponents of Voter ID laws argue the laws stifle turnout among students, poor people and minorities, who are more likely to vote for Democrats but might lack government-issued IDs, such as driver’s licenses and passports. And that is a totally flawed notion.

Why is that notion so flawed? Simple. Let us look first at the largest demographic in the U.S. who is most likely to seek out  public assistance of any kind. In doing so, lets look at a program or two that are universally recognized:
