In my last post, I said Obama had done his work “on the cheap.” While some of his “transformation of America” was legislative (like Obamacare), much of it was simply by Executive Order. That’s good only until some other President decides to rescind it. Of course, all of the Obamanauts are complaining madly about this. How DARE Trump act this way. Well, that’s why he was elected, buckos, to reverse what Obama and his minions did.
And then some high up GOPe-er rants about “We need to reverse the trend of voters preferring Democrats over Republicans“?
Sorry, I’ve already digressed; that will be another series of posts. But keep it in mind as you read the following. And they wonder why I added the word “Snarl” to my blogging vocabulary because the NH GOP has seemingly deleted the word “Trust” from their “governance” vocab.
Well, I guess sometimes “snarl”ing can make a difference – this came in over the weekend from a reader that was screwed over by NH GOP elected politicians and laments that Bill O’Brien wasn’t still Speaker (emphasis mine).

Ah yes, the Progressives/anti-Constitution folks just can’t live up to their own words of “tolerance” and “inclusion” when it comes to others, not of their own mind. Especially with Obama’s bitter clingers to their Bibles and their guns gaffe. They merrily go along, logic-free, saying that if you were to take away everyone’s guns, all the killing sprees would go away. Humpf – like they did here?
SHOT:
The last mass killing of such a caliber occurred in 1996 when a lone killer massacred 35 people and injured 18 more in Port Arthur, Tasmania.

Not that I would expect him to tell us but it is clear that somebody thought they could puff up their chests for some dufus reason. At least he quoted my printed word correctly:

(It’s hard to miss when it is in black and white). And what I’ve said before, is that Concord often follows Washington DC in Republican voting, has been repeated once again. Major bills that should have passed, after we gave the GOP the House, the Senate, and the Corner Office, have failed. Important ones to the conservative base. Ones that should have breezed through – if the NH GOP patrolled itself a bit better. We do the heavy lifting come vote time – like any investor, we expect an ROI on that investment of time, effort, and sometimes, real money. At the end of the season, why shouldn’t we, like investors at quarterly/end year, look back and say “were they worth it”? What you’re hearing is “er, nope” (stronger terms should be imagined).

Yes, I slap them around when it is needful – but I’ll go the other way when needed as well. The NH GOP did no such thing as exclude a delegate from the NH GOP Convention yesterday. So he is one of two three four things:
Or all four. He’s been around NH politics a long, LONG time – he knows better than to do this unless he was intent on making trouble where none exists. Yet, he decided to take a fact and make it an unfact: what’s a delegate by the rules?

Now, as to the “prefer to blog instead of writing a newsletter or work to get Republicans elected or do other positive stuff for the Party” stuff, let me direct you first to this this (it will point you back to the first part). Now, let me reproduce what conservative political strategist Jon Henke once said when he tried to explain to politicos what bloggers are (even though it was said a few years ago now, its premise has changed little since then) (paraphrased):

SHOT: but what about all the bad stuff we stopped? Doesn’t that mean anything to the “base”?

Why? We EXPECT that to be done – it should go almost without question. If those bad things were outside of the Platform or Constitutional bounds, it should be an automatic “You shall not pass” (H/T: Indiana Jones and the Holy Grail). It is a measure of quality against your Standard. We know what that is – both are easily found. We expect that you know them, that they guide you, and such elected politicians, when you swear your oath to defend it or campaign under that banner that they would be uppermost in your mind when contemplating whether to sign or veto.
