Windham – didn’t care about the drugs and now doesn’t care about a child

February 5, 2020 Skip

Ah yes, Windham. Back again. Last time it was about the drug trade operating in the Windham school system and that it seemed that the upper echelon of the Windham Police Department either didn’t care, wanted to sweep it under the proverbial rug, or just plain was incompetent.

Ted Cruze mocking Pelosi's sarcastic handclap

Clapping – what goes around, comes around

February 1, 2020 Skip

It proves that sometimes, sarcasm can be used both ways and in this case, the second time it has teeth. When Nancy “Trump will always be Impeached” Pelosi did that to Trump at the end of the State of the Union, many though it was an “in your face” moment showing how politicized Govt has … Read more

Trump more powerful than you can possibly imagine

BREAKING NEWS – No more witness, Trump may be acquitted tomorrow

January 31, 2020 Skip

BUMPED and UPDATED II: It’s sounding like this will be done by Wednesday.

BUMPED and UPDATED: Murkowski will vote NO on more Impeachment witnesses. The Democrats needed 4 Republicans to force the issue; they got Mittens and “never know how she’s gonna vote” Collins. This is almost all over.

**************************

Four Republican Senators had to vote with the Democrats to have more witnesses (e.g., that the US House Democrats should have done in their ‘inquiry’ but refused to follow up their subpoenas with Judicial orders). Two of the regular suspects have decided to do just that.

January 31, 2020 Skip

Peter D. Mare has issues and they don’t just lay in the realm of economic theory. He seriously has brother anger. However, he comes off as certainly being an eco-Socialist. Eco because he’s at Treehugger and Socialist for his world-class envy outlook.

Bring in the Psych guys with meds as nothing will never be as soul-crushing to a Bernie-Bro Socialist as being told you are second rate – behind Trump Supporters. After all, according to the Left, we’re nothing but redneck, illiterate, rube knuckledraggers (Southern accent not essential but preferred).

THESE Are The Kinds of People Making the Anti-Gun laws?

January 30, 2020 Skip

I will no longer accept the phrase “common sense” coming from anti-gunners as a euphemism when their aim really is to infringe on our Second Amendment Rights. We can no longer let the Left to play word games anymore.

Notable Quotes – George Will

January 30, 2020 Skip

Note a contradiction in progressivism that has become steadily more severe in the century since [Woodrow] Wilson wrote. Progressivism has no objection to steady enlargement of the “conceptions of state duty.” Quite the contrary, such enlargement is the progressive agenda – the expansion of the central government’s supervision of society’s complexities. But as solicitous government permeates society … Read more

Your Plastic Bag “BANK” Authorized by State Government

January 30, 2020 Skip

In a literal sense (and no small amount of tongue-in-cheek), if you have to pay for them you’ve got a “bank” of bags. It adds up! And he could make money by standing in front of the store’s entrance and go “Psst – 10 bags for 4 cents each, a 20% discount from Big Bags!”

HB1159 – The Democrat “Shut the ‘Grok DOWN” bill – Hearing Report

January 30, 2020January 29, 2020 Skip

Well, we’ve certainly had a number of posts leading up to this hearing asking that if you could, it would be wonderful if folks could come out to support us. We’ve made it clear that this bill was aimed directly at GraniteGrok and I am glad to say that NH State Rep Jan Schmidt made it CLEAR that “a website” was guilty of this.

BUMPED and UPDATED: The hearing is still set for tomorrow at the time below. The Executive Session (when the Committee will be voting on the bill). Remember, this is retribution for the coverage we’ve been doing the last couple of years, especially on some of the sponsors of the bill.
BUMPED: Again, I’m hoping that as many of the Groksters and our friends will come out to the hearing. It’s a lot to ask – y’all have jobs!

The actual title of the bill is this: “relative to cyberbullying, cyberstalking, and doxxing of a public servant.”

Date: Wednesday, 1/29
Time: 10:45 am
Place: LOB Room 204 (that’s Legislative Office Building right behind the State House)

Bleg – Presidential Primary: the white Knights will wade into the Liberal Progressive Lair!

January 28, 2020 Skip

BUMPED and UPDATE: I wanted to take a moment to say “THANK YOU” to all of you who donated to GraniteGrok for this event as exactly $700. That is enough (plus a bit) to cover our expenses including getting some gear that we’ll need. Once again, our Grok readers are the BEST and we thank you for your loyalty.

GraniteGrok, once again, is turning to you, our loyal readers for a bit of financial help. You see, Feb 11 is the date for the Presidential Primary here in NH for both the Democrat and Republican Parties. Given that the Republican primary is pretty much a lock, most of the “energy” is on the Progressive Left.
