NH Firearms Safety Coalition presents Massod Ayoob – intro remarks by Ralph Demicco

Earlier this week, the NH Firearms Safety Coalition held an event at the BassPro Shop in Hooksett, NH where they hosted nationally known firearms speaker, writer, and trainer Massad Ayoob.  That video is in process as we speak and I’ll be putting it up later on today.  However, Ralph Demicco, well known in the Second Amendment community as an active supporter as well as the former owner at Riley’s Sport shop, gave his introductory remarks.  He heads up the NHFSC whose sole aim is helping retailers and instructors how to help those at risk for committing suicide.  The statistics are sobering – suicides using firearms which make up 2/3rds of the 32,000 (or so) gun deaths each year.  Ralph and the NHSFC wish to diminish that number.

RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood. (These are two things of which there is a plentiful supply. Government and corporations always have a difficult time appealing to people, and usually do so almost exclusively with economic arguments.)

RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone. (Organizations under attack wonder why radicals don’t address the “real” issues. This is why. They avoid things with which they have no knowledge.)

VOTER FRAUD? Twice As Many Ballots Cast As There Are Voters In Georgia Precinct

Twice as many ballots as the number of registered voters were cast in a northeastern Georgia precinct during the state’s primary elections in May. According to official numbers from the Georgia Secretary of State, 670 votes were cast in Habersham County’s Mud Creek precinct, where there were only 276 registered voters, says a report from McClatchy DC. Impossibly, this means the precinct saw a 243% voter turnout.

In a bizarre turn of events, the number of registered voters changed from 276 to 3,704 on the secretary of state’s website on Tuesday morning. Questions of electronic malfunction, outside tampering, and voter fraud — particularly in light of a pending investigation into alleged voter fraud during the Atlanta mayoral election runoff in December — linger over the state.

BlogQuestion of the Day: Fine for me but not for the unwashed and definately unwanted Deplorables and Clingers?

If it’s illegal for a family owned bakery to ban people from its property based on their religious beliefs, should it also be illegal for Facebook to ban conservatives based on their political beliefs?

Let me make sport of atheistic Progressives for a moment (see!  an Object Lesson like I learned in Sunday School).  Religious beliefs are protected under the First Amendment.  So is the Freedom of Association.  Most Democrats are “unchurched” to quite a large degree according to most polls.  Yet, we know that most Democrats approach politics with religious fervor all of its own. But aren’t they the ones that have been behind and created most of these “anti-discrimination” statutes and regulations.

So, are they going to political Hell for breaking their own dogma on discriminating according to belief systems?

170 116 year olds and now 588 “new” ballots. What’s going on in Prez Wannabe John Kasich’s Ohio?

Steve’s post should make eyebrows grow in height.  This should make your head go side-to-side as we’ve seen this too many times before:

Ohio race just got closer after county finds hundreds of uncounted votes

The tight race between Democrat Danny O’Connor and Republican Troy Balderson just got tighter.  Election officials in Franklin County found 588 previously uncounted votes in a Columbus suburb. The result: O’Connor had a net gain of 190 votes, bringing the race’s margin down to 1,564. “The votes from a portion of one voting location had not been processed into the tabulation system,” according to a Franklin County Board of Elections news release.

Shades of the Minnesota race a few years back when now disgraced (and unfunny comic) Al Franken won his race due to three items:

  • George Soro’s S.O.S. (Secretary of State) Project that gave millions to Progressive Democrats to win those positions (MN SecState Dem won his before the Franken votes)

A lot is going on behind the scenes as we are ramping up in our goal to serve the Conservative and Conservatarian base better than we have in the past.  We are adding new writers and we are enhancing our ability to cover more events that matter to you folks – that’s what the above is all about (and there will be more announcements about that in a while).  I’ll be announcing the first GraniteGrok meetup next week – it will be held in either Concord or Manchester.

Throwing the race card

I should do a post on it but it seems that the New York Times decided to hire an Asian lady (/sarc) that hates whites as part of their Editorial Board. Essentially, the NYT finally came clean and said that it was ok to be racist against whites, well, because by definition, only whites can be racists. OK, then!

Er, no – racist is racist no matter what amount of melanin you have in your skin.

I’m a 13-year Hudson resident, married to Kathy for 29 years, and a 20-year Air Force veteran with assignments in Illinois, Germany and Hanscom AFB. I currently work as a communications specialist for the defense industry and am a member of the National Rifle Association and American Legion. I believe in smaller government, lower taxes, free markets, personal responsibility, and the Rule of Law.

The next logical step for me is to get off the sidelines and run for NH State Rep, because although we currently have a Republican majority in the House, we have too many reps in our party who either 1) don’t represent the party’s interests by kowtowing to unions or political correctness or 2) have poor attendance/voting records in Concord, resulting in devastating GOP losses on the House floor on several critical issues. My goal will be 100% attendance in NH House sessions — no less, since I have the flexibility with my employer to be in Concord for all sessions and committee work. And I am making a solemn promise to my future House GOP colleagues and my constituents to have a voting record that truly represents my district’s and party’s values and supports the NH Advantage.

Red Fag LawsIf New Hampshire State Senate Minority Leader Jeff Woodburn has any firearms, will he turn them in NOW? He is, after all, he’s in favor of “Red Flag” laws which empower the State to take firearms away from those deemed to be a danger to others or themselves (or both).

C’mon Jeff, show the courage of your convictions; if you got’em, turn ’em in as a show of faith because “dangerous people” should no longer be “entitled” to Due Process.  You’re supposedly a “Leader.” But are you a leader out in front or a “leader from behind” like Obama self-described?  C’mon, Jeff, resoundingly smash that old phrase “Fine for thee but not for me!” to smithereens?
