Attributes of “you will be assimilated” Social Justice Warriors that can’t just leave well alone.

It’s like they feel they’re on a mission from God.  Oh wait, they don’t believe in God, do they?  OK, in their own minds, they ARE their own god.

We make sport of Social Justice Warriors all the time because, well, they make themselves easy targets.  The problem is that they act in the typical Collectivist fashion – tick them off and they don’t just attack back but at the slightest slight, pre-determine that you must be destroyed.  We’ve seen it, experienced it, and written about.  They are the equivalent (yep, I’m about to break Godwin’s Law) of Societal Nazis – no dissent allowed, no apology accepted, and anything other than complete acceptance of their view is heresy.

The Right Geek has an interesting take between “Leftists” and SJWs and it is WAY more than just degree or intensity:

Data Point: How to “correct” the Income Inequality between the US and the rest of the world?

After all, when you consider the basis point of not just “99% vs the 1%” in the US (as the Marxist / SJWs complain, who want to use Government to “equalize” everyone and thing) but instead, judge the world against the US, we ARE the 1% of the world and the rest of the world hates it and thinks, like American SJWs, that we “stole” all that wealth. So, how to “level” that field?

A story of pot when the taxes paid for pleasure end up enlarging Government.  Which, here in NH, has been the reason why the Democrats have pushed for a casino (or two).  Not for the sake of letting a corporation separate one’s money from one’s wallet – it has always been about Government demanding money from that corporation for…..well, Government doing nothing with respect to “value added”.

Same thing with pot but with MUCH higher margins – for Government for doing…..well, nothing again for “value added”. So now you know why the NH Democrat Party has instituted a plank calling for decriminalization of it (and as mentioned before, a two-fer: those buying pot legally under NH law will no longer be able to buy guns as pot is still Federally illegal). Smoke pot, no Second Amendment for you!

‘Stunning’: 80% using Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion are ineligible, Louisiana report finds

Louisiana’s legislative auditor wanted to know how the state’s expansion of Medicaid under Obamacare was doing, so he picked 100 people who were deemed eligible under the rules. He found that 82 of them made so much money that they shouldn’t have qualified for the benefits they received. Auditor Daryl G. Purpera, who issued his findings last month to little fanfare outside of Louisiana, figured if those statistics hold true for the rest of the expanded Medicaid population in his state, then the losses to ineligible beneficiaries could be as high as $85 million.

Once again, Republicans refuse to stand up for…..Republicans

You can be sure that if this was on the other foot, that it was a Republican that had won with “uncertain” residency credentials, NH Dem Party Chair would be threatening to bomb the Hague NH State Senate chambers. But once again, we see limpness of elected Republican spines in the face of confrontation (reformatted, emphasis mine):

Tales from the Budcomm – It is now on its way to make “No means NO!” mean something again

Summary: This is an Act that remedies a technical problem within the current Municipal and School District budget process that allows Governing Bodies (Selectmen, School Boards) to transgress the fiscal policies of Budget Committees and votes of the Legislative Bodies (e.g., local voters). Current law and regulations allow Governing Bodies to effectively overrule those budgetary approvals at the General Ledger line level by transferal of monies at the Departmental of Revenue Administration MS-Form level.

For my entire time on my budget, I always thought that “No meant no” during the time that NH local SB2 approved Budget Committees are constructing the budgets (both town/Municipal” and the School District budgets) that will be presented to the townfolk at Town Meeting (which for SB2 towns would be at the ballot box). If the BudComm members decided that a line item was insufficient, it could be raised.  If the BudComm felt that a line item had too much money allocated for it, it could reduce that amount.  And if the BudComm felt that the amount was a complete waste of taxpayer money, they could zero out that particular line item (“No means NO!”) and felt that the Governing Body (Selectmen, School Board) could not spend a cent on that “Purpose”.

Yes, Steve, the Manchester Democrats really do hate Rich Girard AND lawyer Karen Hewes invokes the Streisand Effect

MANCHESTER — An attorney representing a Manchester High School Central senior has sent a letter to At Large school board member Rich Girard, requesting he stop discussing her publicly or during meetings or face legal action, after he contacted her through a district-operated student email account regarding an opinion piece she authored in a student newspaper. The student, Rachel Phelan, 18, wrote an editorial in the Sept. 28 edition of “The Little Green,” Central’s student newspaper, urging support for city teachers currently working without a contract.

And said attorney is identified later on in the article as Karen Hewes of EdLaw New England in Bedford. Who accuses Girard of violating FERPA, the Federal law that protect students’ Personal Indentifiable Information (“PII”) as Grokster Ann Marie talked about here. Yet, I dryly note that her letter to Girard to stop talking about Rachel Phelan was leaked to the UL (do ya really think it was Rich that would have done that?).  Naw, this boob of an attorney
