A Croydon couple on Wednesday filed a civil rights lawsuit against the state, challenging a law that forbids local school districts from paying tuition to religious schools.
The State released a well-thought-out guidance document on reopening schools this fall. It provides some primary considerations, relevant information from health authorities (even if I disagree with some of it), and it allows each district to do what works best for them. Democrats hate it. They want a top-down mandate.
The inability of public education to adapt along with the demands of union teachers is sending a message to parents across the country. Teaching Students is not the most important part of that equation. They are also discovering that there are options and this bodes ill (ironically) for the Government Monopoly.
