One Minute Read – Would This Make Democrats Want School Choice?

Democrats as a party are opposed to choice in education. The rank and file are schooled on it and told this is a hill to die on by people who got rich in politics and send their kids to private school.

As a rule, the Democrat party and its faithful want kids trapped in failing public schools, any public school, but what about this one?

What if a school district or a school refused to embrace the practice of preferred pronouns? What if they told parents when young kids tried to use them, or there was evidence of peer pressure to adopt or accept a gender transition culture. What if a school refused to allow adults to talk to kids about their gender journey or the sexualization of children.

Would that rank-and-file, rubber-stamp Democrat demand the option to “educate” their child someplace else? Would they risk appearing like some sort of domestic terrorist™ at the microphone complaining to the school board? What if the board was stone-faced and dismissive or had them removed or arrested for disrupting or interfering with a public meeting?

Would they want school choice then?
